I decided to take my snowboard out to the summit of snowpeak for some fun. I had hoped that it would only take a short while to meet with my friend at the foot of the mountain in Zora's domain, however, when I arrived they where no where to be found.
thinking that he went ahead, I started up the mountain. the view of the river was wonderful dispite the ice covering, I pressed onward. about an hour later I encountered wolfos. I managed barely to fend them off with my board, but the battle left me winded. the wind was harsh, but thankfully I had bundled up enough that the cold was not effecting me much.
the treck wouldn't usually be this harsh, as my friend had a passage way to the top, I on the other hand, could not see the passage. my efforts where left unrewarded, as the sun was at 3/4, I began heading back. once at Zora's Domain one of the Zora informed me that no one other than myself had been traveling to the mountain that day. they where also kind enough to escort me to Northern Hyrule Field where I was able to take a hidden passage home.
all in all, I was surprised to find out that I was in better physical condition than I had previously thought. personally I had estimated that I would have needed many rest stops, but oddly I was able to go the whole way without a single rest and without becoming overwhelmed.
