I have decided that colds are the devil.
(notice that it sums up all colds into one to compose one demonic being)
I haven't been sick in ages. it seems like all the colds that had failed to affect me throughout the past year have teamed up and hurled themselves at me in a collaborated effort to ruin my week and take my immune system by storm. I can't remember the last time I had such a low amount of energy. actually, I can - it was in freshman year of college and I had a stomach virus. that was a dreadful day, oh yes it was.
anyway. to sum things up, eat chicken soup on a regular basis. I had it for dinner on Saturday night - three huge bowls of it - and within a couple of hours I felt revitalized. not completely, but the battle with the cold from hell had finally reached a turning point, thanks to the sudden intervention of Mom's homemade chicken soup (I <3 my mommy!). totally threw off the enemy's course.
right, that was possibly the most disorganized entry ever. blasted cold. I have finished.
