"You take me for a fool with no honour,
But I'll pin you to the ground with my eyes.
Brighter than the Sun in all its splendour,
And colder than the last of your goodbyes.
You take me for a fool who lacks a heart,
But I'm full of fire that burns like a star.
The heat of my love will tear you apart,
The strength of my soul will take you afar.
You think I'm a fool who isn't complex,
But this puddle is really an ocean.
You take me for a fool who has no depth,
But you'll drown in my sea of emotion.
Now you know that you know nothing of me,
I have my scars and I bear them proudly.
So just go ahead and tell me again exactly how shallow you think I am."
It's no Shakespeare, but I like it! It's very me. Yeah, I know sonnets are suppose to have 14 lines, but I had to add that extra one in there! And yes, some of the rhyming isn't perfect, but it works! =P Hope you like it!
