Loving Not Liking
Even flightless sparrows sing
With worry perched on broken wings
For with slumber there comes death
The same with love held on bated breath
But I'm not holding anything back...
Whispered fears on darkened nights
Drive all logic from thy sights
Visions come, sanity they take
And leave you broken in their wake
But you're not holding anything back...
Flightless even though we soar
Wanting nothing, wanting more
Love is ever at our door
Worry, anger, fear galore
But we're not holding anything back...
More's the fun when all is black.
