( Speech ) : Broca's Area, located in the left frontal lobe, around the opercular and triangular sections of the inferior frontal gyrus.. In regards to how it directs human behavior, Broca's Area controls speech production and also allows us to understand language; a very important necessity.

If a person has their Broca's Area damaged, then they will not be able to understand language.
A simple experiment would be to have the subject sit in a room first off. From there, any person could walk into the room and begin to attempt a conversation with the subject. If the subject is confused or can't respond back to the person like he should, then there could be damage to the Broca's Area. If he can respond perfectly, most likely, zero signs of damage would be present.
