Hey everyone. I just found out the other day that my dad got changed positions, and we're moving this summer. That'll be two years here in Germany, and even though it's the standard for deployment, i expected we would live here longer than that. It seems to have gone by faster than anywhere else we have lived so far... I guess that's because i actually wanted to move here, and i love Germany! heart Seriously folks, if you have the chance to move here, please do! I know it takes some a little while to get used to *coughwillcough* but i think it's awesome. I have great friends, and when i told them about it, they were distressed to say the least.... ah well.... I just hope we get to see all that i wanted to in the time we have left. I mean, who knows when we'll be back overseas.
School related- my art project is coming along okay, and i'm really getting into it. Shading is actually easier than i thought, but it still takes me FOREVER. sweatdrop
Will! Help me! I really need to get to the gym more often. bleh. That Halloween candy is really starting to catch up with me. xp Halloween is the worst holiday ever!!! We went to the real Frankenstein's Castle for halloween and it was AWEFUL! The guide book said it was (and i quote) a "must for teenagers who like a scare." I guess that was true for the people i went with, but it definetly wasn't worth it for me. After waiting in three different lines spanning over a period of two hours, almost getting trampled, and finnaly making it to the haunted house, i was dissapointed to see it was nothing more than a bunch of guys in masks jumping out of corners and chasing down girls to grope them. Honestly! We went in the torture chamber where it was like something out of a porno. The dudes picked a girl out of the crowd and tied her up so they could put ice on her and feel her up with a rubber hand. *seriously not lying* stare I guess Germans have a different sort of sense of humor.
Anyway, finally done with another rant and i hope that one didn't bore you too much either. If you read this, it at least was something educational about foreign customs. wink
