Here's my first section. Take note that I still have allot of typos, and I'm a horrible writer...
The year is 2095, (or so we think at least.) After what we thought was bliss, our world started to break from the iron hands of greed, but this is did not start in your future… This stared at the begging of your “fossil fuels age.” Where when was once thought of as endless was starting to come to its end, but our society was so wrapped around the way of life these fuels created that they were turning into our very blood… Lives were lost in wars just to feed the hungry dog that your economy had become. It did not just end there, the gasses these fuels were creating were slowly killing your world… but the worst of it all is that the people knew, and yet they kept at with money in hand and a smile on there face…
But of course the time for prevention had ended and the time for stopping it had begun… With the destruction of the planet immanent, your scientist conducted a way to cool down the planet, fix its ozone layer, and create more of a “neutral” to replace the extremities of hot and cold that had been made into existence… To some it was thought to be utter madness and called it “Armageddon.” Others believed it to be a cure to all the problems at hand and referred to it as “A rebirth.” But its official name was “Project: Omen.” It was going to recreate the atmosphere in the way mankind wanted it to, playing “God.” To fix all the destruction they created, and prevent anymore from happening. But of course your time didn’t want to just let this power go to waste on merely saving mankind from the brink of extinction… No, it had to have military implications to bring us even further to the brink of extinction.
After a certain period of arguing over firing it or not, the dark day that it happened caused massive riots as the blinding ball of light that would be our damnation shot into the sky. It seemed as there was no sound, no movement, and nothing other the giant mass that was ascending high into sky. Mostly because nothing was more important, every living creature on the entire planet was frozen in awe and fear of what was seconds away from happening… The giant ball of pure energy had the width span of Wyoming. It fired perfectly and exploded on its exact set point, a small sigh of relief washed upon the gazing eyes. This was until a force bigger then anything man has ever felt ripped the entire world apart as Project: Omen had exploded in such a way that it gained its own magnetic field equivalent to a red giant, it grabbed hold of the planet for just half a nano second. This was enough to send the entire world into chaos as it sent 65% of the world’s water content shooting outward. It sent the earth out of the sun’s orbit and made the moon collide with the planet fusing them.
After the catastrophe, the world began to chill. Yet it was still hot enough to sustain life merely from the blast of Omen, the radiation given off, and lastly the inner heat of the planet itself. What was left were merely those who were far enough underground, or those in strong enough bunkers. Those that were in the bunkers were affected by the radiation in a way that they changed. They were extremely thin; with there skin barley hanging onto there bones, they were all so quite tall with long gray wheat like hair. Those far enough below the ground were also effected, but in a slightly different way. Their skin had become rock hard, their heads had become elongated like a baboon’s head, they lost all of their hair, and lastly they grew twice the size of average human average. The only similarities between the two were that their eyes had their own bio-luminescence letting them see in the dark sunless world.
End of stage 1.
