Given up forever more
One person can only take so much torture
So what do you do when you’re broken and on edge
You kick life to the curb and fall of the ledge
You say f^&k it to everything painful
You stop follow your moral rule
You stop caring for those who betrayed you
You forget all those nightmares that came true
Once pushed to the edge of life
A person no longer lives in strife
For they have been tortured so much they’re numb
And a new type of monster they become
After feeling so much pain everything else seems dull
After suffering for so long the pain becomes null
And once over the edge one can never go back
Never feel another painful, destructive attack
We who suffer this pain know of this truth
We who have suffered this pain try and educate the youth
For none should have to suffer so much for so little
None should have to become so brittle
