"lets get to work shall we" Aerian said taking the sword from the ground and resting it on her shoulder. Kemaru flipped her sais from her side and her eyes narrow in the moon. she looked over at Aerian and nodded. Aerian took off first toward the exit of the woods followed by Kemaru...
Kemaru POV(point of view)
We raced through the bushes of the woods. the sticks and twigs snapping at our feet. the wind blowing through our hair as we swiftly made it out. Aerian decided to take the trees and i would take the ground. she jumped up into the next tree and grabbed on to a branch and swung herself up and on to the next. she ran above me. it was silienced then. i could hear nothing but the distance draining of blood. it was my "kind". the creatures of the night. i jumped up to the trees and stopped Aerian before she could continue to the next tree.
"Aerian...look..." i pointed down toward the dark street. not even the street lights could come in through the dark. we jumped down from the tree and landed right there...right in front of the feast.
Normal POV.
Kemaru and Aerian watched as the creature took what it could from the young woman's body. it raised its head blood dripping from its mouth. its eyes opened and there you saw two green cat like eyes. they were narrowing on their next victim....Aerian. the nightly beast growled. it sprang up off it feet heading straight at Aerian. she took her blade from her shoulder and massively blocked him from coming at her. She then took her foot and sidekicked it twice ending with a back kick to the face.
the beast yelped in pain as it jumped back.its hands covering its face. the hands slowing slid down its faces once again...with the same smirk across it face.
