1. Zombie
A rotted shell of a former human. Usualy Greenish-Brown to Grey skinned, with tattered burial clothes. Can be dead for a week or up to 500 years or more. Can have missing limbs, and exposed organs. Feed on the flesh and organs of living creatures. Most are strangely atracted to human brains.
To become a zombie, either die and wait for a spell to be cast on you, or give up your soul to the devil and become one of his minions.
Holy water, salt circles, or devine protection spells work great. Hard to repel large hords, but can USUALY be out-ran.
Destroying a zombie is fairly simple. Either knock out its brain (No matter how stupid, they seem, zombies need there brains.), burn the zombie to cold ashes, or destroy so thouroughly that parts are no longer recognizabe.
2. Animated Skeleton
A human bone structure actiong without any other organs. Can use weapons and armor in some cases. Bones can be any collor, from pitch black to bleached white, though dusty-white is the most common. Skeletons do not need to eat or drink, though they are very strong. Are smarter than zombies, but cannot act on there own.
To become a living skeleton, vow your life to protect a sacred place, then die there, or burn away all of your flesh with a black flame.
Holy water and spells are about the only protection against skeletons. The best option is to run, but skeletons are usualy faster than zombies.
To destroy, either break the spell that is controling them, or crush the bones into dust. Most skeletons can re-connect there joints.
3. Mummys
A skin shell wraped in cotton wrap designed for mummys. The only organ inside the skin is the heart, because the egyptians believed you thought with your heart. The bones are also inside the skin. Tomb guard mummys usualy punch or kick, but pharaohs can use majic and ankh's.
To become a mummy, have one of your friends perform an egyptian mummification on you, and seal you in a tomb and engrave a curse in egyptian hieroglyphics.
Holy water or an Anubis Charm are good repelents for mummys.
Mummys are destroyed by fire, break there curse, unwrap them, break all there bones, drive a palm steak through the heart, or completely unwrap them. Even thought they have many weaknesses, they are much more powerful than either zombies or skeletons.
4. lycan (Werewolf)
Werewolves have two forms, human and beast. In human form, werewolves are nearly imposible to tell from regular humans. In wolf form, the humans form is made a bit larger and a bit more muscular. The wolf fur is usualy the color of the humans hair. Werewolves will eat almost any kind of meat, in either form, but you can only contract lycanthropy while the lycan is in beast form.
The only only way to become a lycan is to be bitten by a beast form werewolf.
Silver is the best protection against werewolves. Holy water WILL NOT WORK as a lycan repelant.
Werewolves can be killed by pierceing the heart or infectin the bloodstream with silver or siver dust. Burning will also destroy werewolves.
5. Vampire
Pale, sexualy atractive, and human like, vampires are the most deadly of the well-known forms of undead. The like to wear punk fasion in urban ares, but are not seen in sunlight. Vampires DO have a reflection, but usualy do not own personal mirrors. Vampires drink the blood of large animals, and devour small enough ones whole. They are mostly attracted to the blood of humans, but each have there own preferences on blood type.
You must be bitten by of have the fangs of a vampire scrape your skin and draw blood. Vampire "Venom" is not very different from the lycanthrope virus, because both are infectious diseases.
Holy water and christian crosses repel vampires. GARLIC DOES NOT WORK.
A wooden steak through the heart will kill a vampire.
