Today--well actually, all last week--Matakun's been acting stranger than normal. Usually he's cooped up in his lab making a cure for my sister, Aitora Yazuha, but he's been out of the lab more and more. Kishi--the oldest out of my brothers and sister--says that he's been working on a cure for me, but I doubt that. Matakun doesn't approve of me at all. Not that I care if he does or not, anyway.
Kishi, Kaizura, and Kibashi (My three brothers) have been acting strange, too. Something's up and I can't do anything to find out. I can't leave my room because it'll risk my life. I don't think I can get to my human form to leave my room, either. Takes too much energy from the blood I drink. I don't like drinking human blood, so that may be part of the reason I'm sick. Oh, yes, my family's a family of vampires basically, if you were wondering.
Kibashi has almost completely stopped his "nightly visits" to my room, Kaizura's been home more (he works as a reaper, travelling all over the place to deliver lost souls to the Gate), and Kishi's always scouting out--not at Aitora's side. You see, Kaizura's very, very close to Aitora, and since he can't be here to watch over her more, he left Kishi in charge of watching over her for him. Kishi earns his name (Kishi means knight, doesn't it?), Mataishi's never around much to watch over us, so he does instead. Many creatures and people alike are after us for just as many different reasons.
Why do they always leave the quiet, sickly one out of everything? I mean, come on! I'm just as important as any other family member! Sorry. Anyway, I overheard from a few servants that they overheard from Kaizura and Kishi that they're searching for the San Stone or something like that and the Tsuki Stone. I have no idea what they are.. I ought to look it up in a few books in the mini library that's basically mine since you can only get to it from my room. I've got to study and all that on my own. Man, I wish I can go to school like any healthy kid...
