OMG TRIP!!!!!!
Friday, Dec. 12 (Sakura Mikage's birthday//yes Original Character who I share the name with. *points to icon*) : I spend last minute time with my pimps, do laundry, finish cleaning out the car, bought windshield wipers, picked up Shinku and headed to LVA for Meli's guitar concert. They played Tran-Siberian Orchestra music. For highschool kids they ******** rocked out! I don't care if Meli said she messed up, I didn't notice and they were ******** awesome. X3 We then drove to get gas, Canes (in which Shinku destroyed my Sweet Tea =/ ) and met up with Megs at the hotel. Hotel is mostly fail but the snack bar was awesome on my actual bday. :3 Had omfg delicious blueberry cheesecake too that night.
Saturday, Dec. 13th : Erin drives up there after work, Heather overslept but got there and we head off. Lots of old skool 90s music was played via cassette converter for Megs' zune and we also listened to Moon Troupe's Elisabeth songs via Heather's iPod. I played some NicoNico Douga Kumikyoku stuffs via my G1 during the trip. We also got pics of a Ronald McDonald in Barstow. I'll get the pics in a later post. Ronaldo-desu.. Ron Ron Ru~ *gigglefit*
We went to Volks first. For those who aren't in the know of that kind of stuff, Volks is a ball-jointed doll place of pretty and expensive but omg they're so pretty that I must go at least once a year now. *_* I got a new wig for Ziadrine. He's happy with his new hair. He can be a red-head for now until I see something that's reddish-brown. It looks really great with his soft green eyes. * w * On the 27th they're coming out with a bunny hoodie that I would love to get for him, but monies will only be spent on gas and Xmas from the 19th check. I got Megs' dollfie a new wig as well for an early bday present. Samantha looks awesome with her new hair and boots and stuffs. Meli got eyes for Xue and Heather got some eyelashes and something for faceups I believe. Don't remember what. Erin got Zzyxx some boots and a shirt she's gonna defile with a mudkip on it. F'sking /b/tards... Haha. I gave Erin Zia's black tanktop to put the TWEWY skull on it. I'm totally am obsessed with that game. Yup. Sure am. ^^;
We then left there and went to the fashion district. Got the fabric for the Neku cosplay and enough to make outfits for Zia as well. Today I realized I didn't get enough yellow buttons while we were there. Zan Nen.. Buttons are cheap enough in Vegas to where I can use the ones I got for something different. After that, we went to Japan Town. THEY HAD DANCE MANIAX AND PARA PARA PARADISE AND TAIKO NO TASUJIN OMFG. I haven't played DanceManiax since AX 2006 and Para Para even further back than that! @_@ So much win for that arcade. The girls also ate at this ramen place and we put the Japanese to good use. There was also a game store near the arcade and I bought LOADED for PS1. Yeah it's an old game that I loved but the copy my dad had was scratched to where we couldn't get past lvl2. This store had a brand new ******** copy. I'll probably be playing it after work or something. Today is a catch-up day for internets for me. haha. After that, we drove back to the hotel, ate food since I didn't eat at the Japanese restaurant and talked about porn. Erin acquired a free box of yaoi manga and we referred to it as porn since we had an eavesdropper across from our booth. XD The titles were funny as well, but I'll let Erin post about that on her own journal.
Sunday, Dec. 14th : MY DAY IS HERE.. And everyone had to leave in the morning. I was cool with that. I got my one day to just be by myself and relax. I slept most of my birthday away. I needed the rest. I managed to watch the news and Rush Hour on the crappy hotel terebi and ate yummy chicken fingers and turkey & cheese sammich from the snack bar since I was at the hotel while it was open. Their arcade is fail btw, crap games were down there, the gift shop had nice ladies. I went in there for some water and pads just in case I start my period (srsly, there was a period chain reaction this weekend, but I'm still safe for now) and yeah, was a nice atmosphere in there. I usually am very uncomfortable in shops where there's no anime or gaming related things but yeah, nice ppls. I managed to do some RP via Gmail/Gtalk on my phone and had lots of email notification of birthday wishes from Facebook and texts and things. ^^~
Monday, Dec. 15th : I get up early because during the news watchings I did the night of birthday, I saw the rain reports turned into snow warnings. Snow, in my Las Vegas? More likely than you think. At least in Jean, NV. I did an early check out. Got my stuff in the car and it was already snowing. It was kinda awesome, but I was too cold to really stand out there longer than necessary. Took like an hour and a half to get home because traffic was shitty and there was some accidents on the road. Picked up mama and we got my bday cake. Got my 24 candles too. Mama let me know that I'll be making more cheesecake for other ppl that she wants to give them too. So I already know other than car payment and cellphone bill what this check will go mostly to~. I got dropped off back home after our purchases and I let mama take my car to go take care of grandma. Sent with her some cake to give to family members as well since Grandma's house is the central pick up area. XD
All in all, awesome trip with some of my awesome friends = Epic ruling of the weekend.
