So I'm super excited for halloween this year! I really hope gaia does something better than last year for this years event. Anyway, halloween in probably one of my favorite times of the year. Not just because of the costumes and candy, but because there is just something special about this time of year. It's a time of year where you can wear orange as much as you want, and everything is bright and yet dark and spooky.
There's also just something about coming home and the house smelling like pumpkin spice, seeing all the decorations, and that big bowl of candy corn sitting on the table that really puts a thrill in the air. It's also the only time of year where we go out of our way to be scared. We pay money to walk through haunted houses, go to scary movies, and take haunted hay rides through the woods, all for the soul purpose of being scared and tormented.
Me personally, I plan on spending this halloween on my couch in the dark watching one of my all time favorite movies; "The Nightmare Before Christmas". Oh and we can't forget the classics like "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" or "The Halloween Tree". Whether your trick or treating, or staying home I hope everyone will remember to stay safe this year. Oh and always remember the trick or treat golden rule "If in doubt, throw it out!" Trust me, you'll have plenty of candy that if that one reeses cup looks a little funny, it won't be that big of a deal to just get rid of it. smile
