I know this will be petty, and rather lacking in substance, but the way that this site keeps spamming multiple times a day with "Announcements" for their products is rather a sad state of affairs compared to years past when I first joined.
I log in at any point of the day, and then do so after maybe an hour, and I get five notifications it feels like, none of which are relevant to my experience or needs.

I would understand if it was patch notes, or similar type access material that was on a need to know basis, but instead it is always advertisements for various shops and real money purchases. I would personally be happy if they could be turned off, but after doing a quick check in the forums, apparently there is no way to do so, nor intention to allow it.

There was someone who had apparently used an add on to do away with such things, but it sounded like that was a purchased option.

I see a little bit why people I used to interact with left this site.
