This is my comic bout my past life...long ago in Egypt

Katara is Kiya's sister, but Katara likes to travel through time more than Kiya. She's very much like her sister by shape shifting to an animal at Halloween night to give 'em a lil scare. =^,.,^= Katara learns more everyday in this time.

Kiya is the Guardian of Bastet so that's why she stays in the past. There are other reasons she stays in the past. Sometimes her sister visits her every other year. They do communicate with their amulets when they have time.


The way Kiya & Sphinx met was when she saw him walking toward the Bastet Chambers. After she attacked him & checked his heart, she took him to her chambers to heal his wounds. She saw that his heart was pure so she flet sorry for knocking him out.

After a hour and a half past by, Sphinx woke up & found a black cat on his lap. Then Kiya woke up after that & jumped to the floor. She turned back to her human form. Sphinx was astonished to see someone like that. Kiya asked," Are you alright?..I'm Kiya by the way." He said,"I..I'm Sphinx & yes."


Kiya & Sphinx talked for a long while about themselves. Then she took him to Bastet's Chambers, so he could speak to Bastet. After Sphinx spoke to her, Kiya asked Bastet if she can go with him & she said," Yes, but he needs to know who you really are. Sphinx, she is my daughter and my guardian. Keep an eye out for her, alright Sphinx?"

Katara loves Halloween, cause of all the different creatures the humans did for costumes. She turns into a different creature every year. Kiya might come join her sometimes, but she prefers to stay in the past. Katara, this year is a werewolf for Halloween & she's having fun scaring people. She says," Happy Halloween everyone."

Kiya has never been outside before so the light was bright for her. Sphinx showed her places he went before & made friends there. First they went to Abydos & talked to the mayor. After they talked to him, they went to Heliopolis & enjoyed the waterfall there, then talked to Anubis for a while. Kiya & Sphinx went under the bridge to take a peaceful break where the water flowed. They also talked, hen it was getting late, they spent the night there, under the bridge.

Kiya felt strrange for the first time, she thinks maybe she's falling in love with Sphinx......

In the morning, they went over waters to go to South Beach. Then, Sphinx took her to Imhotep & he was very interested in Kiya. Imhotep has never seen Bastet's daughter/guardian before. Imhotep asked, questions about her for a hour. Kiya was used to this now, so she didn't mind.

Kiya studied the portal in Imhotep's temple & wondered where it went to. Sphinx said," I'll show you, but it has some bad creatures there." She said," I think we can take them." =^,.,^= When they went through poral, she was amazed to see such a place.

When Kiya saw the door shoot a red beam she jumped at first & she said," That can't hurt me, so stay behind me." After they went through the door, Sphinx said," That was amazing, what other powers do you have?" She just said," You'll have to wait & see." He likes Kiya alot, she could tell, she saw how he looks at her. Kiy thought this place was strange. It had cages with skeletons.

Kiya asked," What is this place, Sphinx?" He replied," This is Uruk, the place where Prince Tut was turned into a mummy by the evil god Set." She asked," So you're the one who tried to help Tut get all of his soul pieces?" Sphinx replied," Yes I did, but Prince Tut droped the last piece in the pit, where Se was when I fought him." Kiya just stared at him in amazement.

At 10:36 p.m. Katara wanted to talk to her sister & tell her 'bout tonight. Kiya told Sphinx that her sister was trying to commuicate with her. Katara said," Hey sister, you should have seen what I did this year for Halloween. I was a werewolf & this pre-teen was dressed as a ghost & I said hi in the language of the werewolves. The boy was shaking in fear, so then I said Happy Halloween in english to make him feel a lil comfortable." Kiya said," Sounds like fun you had this year (laughs a lil) maybe I'll come next time, I do miss you Kat, but right now I'm on a mission with Sphinx." Katara said," Oh ok, well talk to you later then, bye." The Kiya said bye also.

Kiya asked Sphinx which direction would Ra's temple was. He pointed to the Northeast. She told him that Bastet said Ra came to see the future guardian & that was when she was 2 years old, during the Great Terror in Egypt. "I was abandoned by my birth mother...

Once Kiya & Sphinx finally reached Ra's Temple, they spent the night inside one of the chambers. She had to put a force field around where they were sleeping, so the creatures wouldn't bother them. When it was morning, they explored the temple & they thought it was amazing. On the rightside there was freash water from a fountain , leftside there was a waterfall & the place seemed peaceful. Then Ra came out of the sundisk & said," Well this is certainly a honor to see the Guardian of Bastet in my chambers. I welcome you both here." Kiya bowed to him & said," thank you Ra, may we wash & eat something?" He replied," Of course, there's the waterfall over to your left & I shall creat a feast for you." "Thank you."

Kiya sighed happily as she went in the warm pool with waterfall. She said," I do miss these waters from my own chamber." He said," Well I only wash in cold water, so you're lucky to have a nice chamber...I could get used to this." " It sure feels good under the falls." =^,.,^=

That night, the 3 of them ate at the feast & then Ra talked about what was happening to the reigons. Some kind of evil has come again & he doesn't know if it's a god or mortal...Time will tell.

This comic is based on a dream I had 2 years ago. Kiya & Sphinx were in my dream, but Katara is an added character so to make it more interesting between past & present.
Kiya is adopted 'cause when she was just a little girl, about 3 years, her real mom abandoned her during the Egyptian Wars. She was by Bastet's Temple & Bastet took her in as her own child. Then she gave her a gift, the power of shape shifting & immortality in an amulet that she or anyone can't take it off.
