Rain's Gift
Nature’s Gift

Some things remain unchanged about the world. For instance, rain will trickle through the sky as long as the Earth is intact. Yet, even when time goes through the day, endlessly, it will still rain. And as long as there is time, there is rain. This was indeed what Rain believed. Her small isolated village located in the hilltops of Snowpeak would sometime, rain.
It would pour unto the village and soak the grounds. It would flow through the forest and swarm into the houses until the rain stops. That was what Rain always wished, but it never came. There was no gushing water or dripping rooftops. Only dryness and dust that clouded the sky. Only dried up rivers and old barren wells. There are some, one among is Rain’s mother, Sunrise who go to the city of Oaktree every week to gather water from their wells.
Sometimes, misfortune would creep and little water is supplied for the fifty people living in the village. Everyone will have to share the water, drinking drops at a time. Many die during these mishaps with their lack of water. Rain would simply gaze and drink with the people as some died slowly. Rain was a fifteen year old girl with long dark blue hair and dreamy light blue eyes. She usually wears a sky blue dress that stretches to her feet. Her skin was pale and she hardly smiled but her voice was beautiful.
Her mother named her Rain because she was born on the one day it rained in her village. She told Rain about that day when everyone came out, shouting joyously and holding their hands out. Of the happiness they cried and the buckets that were brought out. That was the day when Rain sang words. After the rain had stopped, her mother told Rain in a whispering voice,
“The day you sing again, you will bring joy to us all Rain. The water will fall from the sky and empty our hearts. When you sing, it will rain.”
Rain would always remember this, forever.

Chapter I- Fear
Morning reeked and Rain woke up, yawning slowly. She shuffled out and stared at her mirror. She made a sigh and opened her wardrobe, which was quite barren.
“I should wear something different today.” she said incoherently. She nabbed a purple polka-dotted blouse and a blue skirt. Her room was a plain one, “hardly worth noting” Rain would say if anyone asked. There was simply a bed, wardrobe, bathroom, and nightstand. Nothing really fancy, Rain didn’t like to decorate her room. Rain left and sluggishly went down the stairs to the door of the kitchen, the warm smell of waffles, pancakes, and eggs making her mouth water. Rain opened the door and grabbed a waffle from the toaster.
“Good morning Rain!” Sunrise sang, her brown hair swinging as she put an egg on Rain’s plate.
“Good morning. It didn’t rain yesterday either.” Rain mumbled munching on a waffle. Sunrise sighed and noted,
“Well, it hasn’t rained for fourteen years, why would it rain today?” She had lost hope for rain to come ever in the village as everyone else had. Sunrise took Rain’s hand and patted it.
“You know, I still remember the first time I saw you sing. It was a beautiful sound, I could see you face brighten and everything.” she told, in her sweet mellow voice.
“Yes, you’ve told me before.” Rain nodded and replied. Sunrise smiled and let go of her hand. Rain continued to eat and after she finished, she decided to go for a walk. During her walk, she had to notice the old houses with their buckets outside. She held her hand out suddenly but commented to herself,
“No rain...again.” Rain strolled through but stopped to see an old man walk in front of her. He grabbed her shoulders and exclaimed, his voice hoarse,
“Make the village rain! Sing for us and all our people! Sing in the name of the village and all the gods! Sing!” he fell silent and dropped to the ground. Rain stood there, shock overwhelming her as she stood there and heard murmurs from the people.
“He’s dead! Another elder has died!” someone exclaimed. The immediately ran and closed their doors when a boy appeared, his cheeks flushed.
“Grandpa?” he questioned and shook him. The old man simply shook with him, soundless.
“He’s dead. Grandpa’s dead.” the boy muttered and turned towards me.
Rain asked politely,
“Where are your parents?”
he replied, solemnly,
“They’re dead.” Rain took his shoulder and rubbed it sympathetically,
“Oh...so you’re an orphan I assume?”
he nodded and quickly said to change the topic,
“Grandpa told me that I should stay with you. I’ve heard about you. We are indeed very alike. Could I possibly stay?” Rain took his shoulders and asked,
“What do you mean alike? You can make it rain when you sing?”
“No!” the boy laughed. “I can start fires when I get mad.”
Rain cocked her head and asked,
“You can start fires? Well that is sure a coincidence since I can start rain. What is you name?”
the boy replied,
“Flame.” Rain raised her eyebrows and repeated,
“Flame? Well nice to meet you Flame. I am Rain. How old are you?”
“Fifteen. You?”
“Same. Well, let’s go.”
Flame was a red-haired boy with amber eyes. He smiled widely and had a good sense of pride, which inevitably people did not like. Rain and Flame walked through the street and arrived at the wooden door. Rain pulled at it to find it locked. She scratched her head puzzled then heard Sunrise,
“You will not come in! Not with that boy! Get him out of here!” Rain turned to Flame as he grew angry, his face flushed. Rain turned back towards the door to see it burning. Then, a flicker of fire burned on the wood and spread throughout the door. After minutes, the door was nothing but burnt ash. Rain, in awe snapped out of her mind blank and saw Sunrise, crouched against a couch, whimpering.
“You-you can’t be alive! I can’t believe this!” she screamed, tears streaming down her face.
Rain put her arms out and replied,
“What are you talking about? Flame is-” she was cut off by a large explosion. The house shook and there were screams outside. There was another explosion, a bigger one, and Sunrise screamed even louder. She jumped out of the couch and ran up the stairs. Rain and Flame looked out to see about one hundred soldiers throwing bombs on houses and killing people.
“What’s going on?” Flame wondered
Rain frowned and shouted,
“It’s the Oaktree soldiers! Why are they attacking us?” Flame shook his head and shouted back,
“We have to do something!”
Rain sighed and said slowly,
“I guess I have no choice.” Flame opened his eyes wide as Rain started to sing, the melodic sound flowing through the air. Rain sang, her sweet tone intertwined with the breeze that danced along her tune. And as she sang, drops of water fell upon the village. The louder her voice, the more rain poured over the rooftops of the houses, the paved walks, the buckets.
The soldiers looked up and whispered,
“It’s-it’s raining. This can’t be! Rain must be doing this! Where is she? Her voice disappeared, where did she go?” Flame cringed as they ran into the nearest house. They could hear the yelps in pleasure and screams,
“Rain! It’s here! Our miracle has happened! Thank Rain for her heavenly love! Thank her! ” Rain smiled slightly, but it was hard to notice. Flame looked around, the house we went into. It seemed abandoned partially because there was no furniture or food anywhere.
Flame grabbed Rain who was watching the people dance,
“Let’s go home! We have to. We have to leave and never come back!”

Chapter II- Escape
They ran. They ran as the rain continued to pour. They ran despite the yelps of pleasure and cries of joy from the people. Rain ran, through the perilous water that she loved. Flame ran, cringing after every drop that fell on his face. They ran until they reached Rain’s house, the remainders of the door, gone. Rain flew through and gasped. Flame trailed behind, hands above head trying to shield himself from the water. Flame too, had to gasp in horror to see a dead body. Not just any body, but the body of Sunrise.
“Is-is she dead?” Flame exclaimed nervously.
Rain knelt down, feeling teary,
“She’s dead. My mother is dead.” Flame, looking down, was speechless. He noticed something white in Sunrise’s hand and walked to it.
“What’s this?” He murmured and Rain snatched it from him. She opened it and read, hearing Sunrise’s sweet melodic voice:
I hope you get this, Rain. My beloved, sweet Rain. And if you did, then that must mean that they found me and I am no longer living. There are several things you should know: first, I am not your real mother. I so dearly wish I were, but I am not. You were found outside the village near my house and I took you. I do not know who you truly are, but you’re name was given when I saw the basket you were in. Second, the Oaktree soldiers, are coming for you. In fact, they are searching for four (Flame included) of you so please promise to be careful. Thirdly, Flame, that boy you were with, he is the same as you. When I first saw him, I could not believe my eyes to see two of you at the same village. Please tell him to pardon me for my rude behavior. I am not permitted to tell you further. Finally, Rain, continue to sing. Sing with your precious voice and when you sing, it will rain. The day you sing again, you will bring joy to us all Rain. The water will fall from the sky and empty our hearts. When you sing, it will rain. Remember that.
Rain folded the letter and sighed, staring at her “mother”.
She turned towards Flame who stood in shock and she spoke,
“Who are we? I mean, what are we?” Her voice was quivering as she shook. Flame put his hands in his pockets and shook his head slowly.
“I don’t know, Rain. I just don’t know.”
Rain stood up and spoke, her voice more firm,
“Let’s go. We have to find the other two. Sunrise said there were two others like us...” Flame nodded and stared out the window.
“Look, a rainbow.” he commented and smiled. Rain turned and smiled slightly.
“Everything has it’s beginning doesn’t it?” she answered dreamily. Rain, taking the letter and a bag, along with Flame, left the village on the hilltops of Snowpeak, never to see it again.

It had been days since Flame and Rain left. They walked through the sandy desert of Regala(Re-gA-la) and arrived shortly to the town of Torrence. Rain puffed in exhaustion as Flame wheezed,
“Our ‘powers’ certainly don’t help us in sand conditions does it? I thought I would never see day again the storm was so mighty!” Rain responded coughing,
“I know. I can’t even sing in that voracious winds!” Flame said laughing, “It’s good we stopped at this town before we get to Oaktree.”
Rain nodded in agreement. They walked through the town, that was nearly barren except for the sporadic handful of people that walked by who stared at them wildly as if they were from another planet. One little girl tugged on her mother’s dress and whimpered,
“Why are those two people so weird?” but her mother simply scorned her and hurried her away. Rain shook from the coldness of the people and grumbled,
“Let’s get the stuff and go.” Flame nodded and walked into the store called “Replenishin’ Mart”. Rain sat on a nearby bench and hummed softly. But even her humming was magical. As Rain sat on the bench, humming, it started to drizzle lightly and people looked up in awe.
“Ma!” cried a little boy. “The sky is crying! Can you stop it from crying?” his mother laughed and stared at Rain who laughed quietly at the humor the boy bestowed upon everyone. Flame ran out of the store shortly and huffed in rage. He cringed as he felt tiny drops of rain.
Rain whispered,
“Even when I hum, it will rain.”
Flame snorted and muttered,
“Let’s go. I’m not in a very good mood.” They left shortly after the drizzling stopped and headed to Oaktree once again.

Chapter III- Entranced
The forest of Enta that was the entrance to Oaktree was thick with trees and bushes. Flame lit a flame on a dry piece of wood and they walked endlessly through the night, breaking the protruding pieces that pointed towards them. After coming out of Enta, twigs stuck onto Rain’s hair and Flame burning several trees in anger, they managed to stop at the city of Zenthos, the city of thunder.
“City of thunder, huh?” Flame commented. Rain looked into the sky, watching the clouds that darkened.
“The clouds are darkening. It looks as if a thunderstorm is about to begin. No wonder it’s called the city of thunder.” she responded. As they walked through the city, silent as the wind, she could hear light clapping. Flame held his ear out listened intently.
Rain questioned,
“Is that...clapping...synchronized to the roaring of the thunder?” Flame listened and nodded slowly in agreement. Rain then walked around and asked people about Zenthos. They came across an old woman who sat them down in her house and told them the legend of Zenthos.
“Years ago,” the old woman started. “in the city, a small boy came by with light blonde hair and black eyes. Then, he disappeared during the first thunderstorm ever in this city and he never returned. No one has found him ever since and you can hear the thunderstorms almost every day. Well, that’s why Zenthos was called the city of thunder.”
Rain after thanking the woman giving her some money, based on her information, had suspected that the boy had something to do with it. Flame listened intently at the clapping and tried to follow it.
“We need to find...this boy. Sunrise was probably right about this so we have to gather all of them.” Rain reasoned as they walked through the streets. Flame nodded and Rain suddenly grabbed his arm.
Flame stuttered,
“Wh-where are we going?”
Rain responded, going behind a house,
“Well, I have to try something. I realized something when I started the rain.” Flame widened his eyes and gasped,
“You’re not...going to-” but before he could finish, Rain started to sing softly. The beautiful melody swirling in the wind as the city people rushed out of their houses and yelped,
“It sounds beautiful! What is that beautiful melody?” then, the loud sound of thunder rang in Rain’s ears. She listened, the clapping of hands in her ears. “What’s that sound? It’s so beautiful!” Then rain started to pour slowly, the water falling from the heavens once again. Rain walked out and thought, I was right. How strange, how my senses increase in rain. Flame, puzzled, Then, Rain ran through the trickling rain and closed her eyes, the clapping growly louder as she approached a deserted meadow.
She stopped in front of it, gazing at the patches of yellow grass that seemed burnt from thunder. The grass danced peacefully in the wind. Rain stepped into the meadow, the drops of rain rushing to her face as the breeze blew softly. She gazed into the place to see an old shackled shed. Beside the shed, there was a boy sitting on the grass closing his eyes. His legs were criss-crossed and his hands were in a clapping form as if he were praying. Then he opened his eyes and clapped again. Rain cocked her head and walking towards him. She stopped about three feet away from him and gave a close examination: he was a fairly well-fed boy, with blonde almost white hair and whitish skin.
She continued to walk towards him and questioned,
“What are you doing, scaring the people in the city?” In astonishment, the boy jumped up and opened his eyes, black and soulless. The boy dusted his jeans and scratched his head.
“I’m sorry. It’s a habit and it brightens me. Who are you?” Rain paused and stared at his eyes.
“I’m Rain, and are you Thunder?” he nodded and closed his eyes. He opened them and chuckled.
“You don’t look the way I imagined you would look.” Rain frowned.
“What do you mean?” she answered focusing on his eyes again that now had pupils and were lively.
“Oh, well you see...” Thunder began. “When I want to summon particularly large storms, I have to clap. But for the duration that it roars, I become sightless so I can sense the presence around me. It’s like a trade-off: during storms if I can increase my sense of hearing, I lose my sight.” he smiled.
“I see.” responded Rain.
She walked closer to him and whispered,
“You have to come with us. Flame and I. The Oaktree soldiers are looking for us and this woman named Sunrise told me that I should find you and another named Freeze.” Thunder widened his eyes.
“Oaktree soldiers? What do they want from me again?!” he muttered angrily. Rain, startled, backed away and repeated,
“Again? What do you mean again?” Thunder sighed and snapped his fingers. A light roar was heard in the sky and there was a small lightening bolt.
“Those soldiers bug me all the time. I don’t know what they want from me! They search for me and rudely tell me to come with them, but I end up escaping their grasp. I always have to move to different places because of them!” he pouted.
“It’s because they want us. We have powers of the elements of nature. Of course they would want us! They want US.” Rain explained. Thunder thought and laughed.
“Anyhow,” he continued. “I would like to go with you two. Flame was it you said? Oh, I’ve heard much about him, rambling these parts long ago and starting fires. I believe he settled somewhere in Snowpeak. You say he is with you?” Rain nodded and grabbed his arm.
“Hey!” Thunder said, cringing.
Rain tugged him by the shoulders and said solemnly,
“We must depart immediately! Yes, Flame is here with me but I left him the city.” Thunder chuckled and nodded, walking with Rain through the meadow. Rain motioned him to follow and they left the meadow.

Chapter IV- Pain
Flame was nowhere to be seen when Thunder and Rain arrived. They searched the small city, cruising the shops in the mall and the restaurants.
“Where could he have gone?” Rain muttered irritated.
Thunder replied positively,
“Well, he must be somewhere in this city. There’s something I can do with my powers to locate him...” Rain cocked her head as Thunder closed his eyes and started to snap his fingers.
“Wh-what are you doing?” Rain stuttered. She stared at Thunder as she saw the static coming from his hands. He then thrust it into the ground, a rumble roaring as Thunder sounded as if he was listening to something.
After minutes, he recited,
“I’ve pinpointed his location. Fifty degrees north and thirty-five degrees east, also known as the House of Elders. Hm, I believe they are the head council but-Flame is, under trial!” Rain gasped and stared at the direction of the building.
“Why-why is he in trial?” Rain questioned uneasily.
“You’ve never heard of Flame’s Tale?” Thunder asked incredulously. Rain shook her head.
“News never comes in Snowpeak. What is this story?” she inquired and sat down on a nearby bench. Thunder walked to the same one and sat down turning towards her.

Flame’s Tale
“About six years ago, in a small village, when Flame was only ten years old, a ten-year old boy named Chance who was petite, with brown hair and laughing eyes. The two were inseparable doing nearly everything together: from going to school to doing sports, they were almost like brothers. Chance was caring and loving, having a light sense of humor. Flame on the other hand, was calm, having never getting enraged by anything.” Thunder began.
“Did he knew his powers?” Rain asked.
Thunder shook his head and replied,
“He could control his anger as extremely well. One that faithful day, Flame was sorry. One day, on a hot summer day, Chance and Flame were sitting on the grass playing with toy trucks and rolling them in the grass.

Chance looked around suddenly and asked,
‘What was that?’ Flame looked around to see a green snake, slithering through the grass silently. Chance cringed and jumped.
‘It, it looks injured! Look at his eye!’ Flame exclaimed as he ran to the snake. Chance hesitated and asked,
‘What if he’s poisonous? He might hurt us!’
Flame laughed,
‘Snakes have good memory! If we help him, then he will appreciate us!’ Chance smiled and nodded in agreement.
‘Come on, let’s get a box and some food for him!’ Flame said joyously. After they had both nicely sheltered him, they couldn’t stop thinking about him. They cared for him after school, before school, and at night as well. In no time, the snake healed quickly and was slithering eccentrically.
‘Time to go Snakey! Come on, where should we leave him!’ Chance happily squeaked. They ran outside eagerly and sat on the grass. Chance cautiously let it go but the snake, taking him for a threat, blindly bit him on the hand. He screamed and jumped up and down, biting his lips. Flame hurried to Chance, who pushed him away. Flame pulled back, holding his balance.
‘This burns! The pain, it burns! Aiii!’ he screamed at the top of his lungs as he gasped in pain. Desperate, Flame ran into Chance’s house and to the kitchen where Chance’s mother was.
‘What is the matter Flame? Your cheeks are red and your out of breath!’ she said, her voice sweet and melodic.
‘Chance is-is bitten by Snakey!’ Flame puffed in anxiousness as she quickly dropped the plates she was holding and hurried out the door. Flame followed, zooming past her and running straight out. Chance lay on the grass, his hand on the wound, breathing slowly and faintly. Flame put his ear to Chance’s chest and listened silently.
‘It’s faint. Very faint.’ Flame concluded. Chance’s eyes suddenly popped open and he gasped.
‘Snakey, wh-why did he do that?’ Chance whispered hoarsely.
Flame whispered,
‘Please don’t die Chan-Chan! Please...’ Chance chuckled softly and closed his eyes. Chance panted slowly.
‘There-there is one thing, I have to say to you Flame...’ Chance whispered. Flame inched closer.
‘You-you are...the only-only brother I had. You are...my kindred spirit. Thank you.’ he concluded, falling silent. Flame bent down, then snapped back up and grabbed the snake that tried to slithered away. He shoved it into the box and picked up Chance. His mother, weeping, ran into the house.”
“Wow...I can’t believe it, he lost his best friend like that? W-what happened?” Rain asked sympathetically.
“The trouble began after Flame decided to keep the snake. One day, while he was walking with the snake, he kicked it, finally angry for the first time. The snake slithered out but could not escape the flame that flickered from the box. Flame, in awe ran out of the village, as the flame, feeding off Flame’s rage, burned the helpless straw houses. There were screams as many struggled out of the fire. Many did not survive but two, Flame and Chance’s mother had with no injuries. Chance’s mother was no where to be found to this day.” Thunder finished. Rain was silent, feeling teary.
“Let us go...and save Flame...before it’s too late.” Rain said, determined to brighten Flame up and free him from suffrage.

Chapter V- Ice
“Flame, you will now be under trail.” the judge words rang out when Rain and Thunder ran into the courtroom, panting.
“Let us begin now, the trial of Flame.” he said and leaned back. Flame, sitting on the bench stood up and walked into the booth. He turned his head to see Rain and Thunder who sat in the very front. Thunder stood up slowly and walked to the judges seat.
“Your honor, may I speak with Flame?” Thunder questioned politely. The chief stood up and examined the boy. He leaned forward and looked through his spectacles.
“Who are you, may I ask?” the judge commanded. Thunder stood forward and put his hands behind his arms.
“My name is Thunder.” he stated, standing patiently. Everyone broke into a murmur instantly as the people of Zenthos discussed.
“Thunder? The Thunder from the legend of Zenthos? Could that be possible? No, he must be lying, he can’t be Thunder.” people asked each other.
“No, I am the Thunder from the ‘legend of Zenthos’. I am the one who scared the people of the city. I am the one who can create the roar of thunder just by clapping my hands.” he said boldly and turned to the judge who raised his eyebrows.
“I see. People of Zenthos,” the judge rose up. “we and the Chief of Elders will hold a duo-trial: the Trial of Flame and the Trial of Thunder.” everyone rose and sat down after the judge signaled to. Thunder stepped nonchalantly into the booth and sat next to Flame.
“You’re Thunder?” he whispered sharply but could not say another word for the judge rudely interjected.
“Do not talk amongst yourselves, you two. You have been charged guilty: Flame for murder and Thunder for fear. Now, who would like to explain themselves first?” the judge asked slightly cold. Thunder stood up and walked to the booth.
“I shall your honor.” he said respectfully to the judge who simply nodded and motioned him to continue. Thunder walked in the booth, going one side to the other and back.
“People of Zenthos, let me ask you a question. A simple one, to be exact. Who was frightened by the sound of my thunder?” he inquired to see several, about half, of the people’s hands shoot up. They put them down and waited.
“Who, was NOT afraid of the roaring?” Thunder asked again and saw almost half to raise their hands.
“Well then, I will have to conclude this: although you have felt your fear and was afraid of the roaring noise of my thunder, the name Zenthos will be yours forever. I can see that you enjoy being called Zenthos, which if my sources are correct, means Thunder City. Is that or is that not true your honor?” he asked the judge who had to nod his head in agreement.
“Then, that means that because of my thunder, your city has built a reputation of being the ‘city of thunder’. This provides your will extra money, tour business, and a place in the map. People of Zenthos, let me say that you now have a name and a reputation because of me.” he concluded and sat down. Flame held thumbs up and smiled brightly.
“Are you finished?” the judge questioned as Thunder nodded. The judge leaned back and stretched in his wooden chair.
“I have nothing more to say. Who here declares Thunder guilty?” he boomed. Five or six hands went up hesitantly, but then quickly fell down. The judge was shocked as he leaned forward and rested his hand on his thigh.
“Who here declares Thunder innocent?” he said, turning his head and gazing at the people. All the people raised their hands proudly and never let them fell until signaled to. The judge sighed and then took some papers and folded it.
“I guess this trial is solved. Thunder, you are declared innocent. No punishment.” he said and smiled.
“I will now begin the second trial.” the judge spoke.
“Flame,” the judge said. “it’s your turn. Explain yourself!” Flame stood up and stepped in the front of the booth. His hands were sweating, his face turning red as he fiddled with his hands nervously.
“Well, I-uh have to admit, it was I who had burned the village. This wasn’t on purpose though, if that is what you heard. The thing is, that a snake killed my best friend Chance. I was only ten, and something incredible happened but it is too complicated. So I will take the punishment, whatever it may be. I am truly sorry.” Flame explained the best I could. Murmurs broke out as the judge fiddled with his hands nervously as he took his hammer.
“We’ll, um...hold a recess! Order!” the judge announced. Everyone got up, continuing to murmur. They stretched and noises broke out. Rain walked to Flame who walked in the booth uneasily. Rain went to him as Thunder followed.
“Flame? I heard about it...I’m sorry.” Rain whispered sympathetically.
Flame lowered his head and sighed. He looked up, staring blankly into the ceiling.
“I miss him a lot, but I guess it was just fated the snake would kill him...and if it weren’t for him I may never discover who I really am. I know that what I did was horrible and I want to make up for my mistakes, I really do! But-” Flame was cut as Rain grabbed him and slapped him in the face. He stepped away and felt his cheek, that had started to redden.
“Ow! What was that for? That really hurt?” He questioned in a high whiny voice. Rain took him by the shoulders and shook him violently.
“Look, I can see how people are mad. You did...well you know what you did however, you have to snap out of it? Here’s what we’re going to do,” she commanded and quickly whispered something to Thunder. He nodded, a grin covering his face. Rain waited as Thunder walked to the center of the courtroom and whispered to the judge,
“I’m sorry your Honor, but here goes.” He snapped his finger swiftly, the static reoccurring through his hands. He thrust them in the ground much like the way he tried to pinpoint Flame, however it was different. The static rose from the ground around nearly everyone, and dissipated. Everyone froze suddenly, Thunder remaining on the ground, turned his head and twitched it slightly. Rain and Flame ran out the door and rushed out, as Thunder lifted his hands slowly and ran out.
“Hurry! They’ll catch us...where do we go?” Rain asked. Flame shook his head and looked back, seeing Thunder running behind them. Rain stared into the open to see a girl in the distance. They approached her, seeing her white hair and white eyes.
“Come with me! You can hide in the storage room but you must be quick about it!” she exclaimed, her voice soft and barely audible. Thunder hesitated but Rain and Flame ran with her into a room. Thunder jumped up and hustled to them.
