Wandering around my favorite guild (Why Not), I came across a sig with some pictures of cute young chibis wearing fantasy clothing. On it was an advertisement for a petition for those clothes. Out of curiosity, I clicked it. In it were pictures of what Gaia had looked like in the early days and I was amazed at how anime oriented they were. Nowadays, Gaia looks more like a normal site that has an animeish artstyle, but back then this whole place was centered around it.

However, no matter how cool it is, it kinda made me feel out of place. Any of you ever had that feeling that you weren't entirely welcome? Like you're trying to join a group where everyone's known each other for a long time and have built up a bunch of inside jokes that you have to have patiently explained to you. Everyone's nice and all but you still feel sorta alienated, like nobody really cares wether you're there or not. I feel kinda like that right now.
