Late night sculking around gaia...well...i guess early morning...3:14...I should be ******** it though....Anyway....contrary to my last jounral entry life seems to be...well, atleast O.K. although I'm still loveless wich kinda sucks...kinda really sucks....and Im listening to music and cant concentrate....oh yeah thats what i was gunna talk about, I have this friend, actually more like a group of freinds, but thats beside the point, anyway, He's like the typical white republican guy, and that in its self bugs the s**t out of me. I'm ignostic and i have really no political stance, though if i had to pick i would say i side with democrats more. Anyway, what i mean by typical white republican is Homophobic, racist, and extremely religuos. not the "Oh, God loves us all" religious, hes the "If you screw up, you will burn forever in a pit of eternal damnation." That, I have no idea why (sarcasm) bugs me. So anyway, back to the main point, too many examples there, but yeah, sometimes he just says s**t that i wanna kick his a** for, like, we had this whole arguement about prop 8 and he said yes and i said no...wait no was not banning gay marrige right? anyway if it was no then i said no. or was it, yes was releaseing the ban and no was keeping it? whatever im just gunna say no, i was for gay marrige, and he was agianst, now, this is why religion pisses me right the ******** off, if two people love eachother, they should be able to take their relationship to the next level and be recognized as a legal married couple, wether its a man and a man, a woman and a woman, or its a man and a woman. The only reason it is frowned upon is because Americans are for some strange reason naturally homophobic. I'm not and that might be because I grew up disfunctionally, but thats beside the point. So, since everyone hates gay people, they decide to take away the few rights they have. Where in the constitution does it say, "All men are created equal, except the ones that take it up the butt."? That just pisses me off, plus, another of the main reasons people bring up is that marrige is a holy thing and should not be tainted. HOLY, MY, a**. nowadays marrige is about as holy as a friggen log. When a woman can divorce, get remarried, divorce, get remarried, divorce, and so on, thats not holy, thats a sham, and people use marrige as a way to get sex, or money. Marrige is already so ******** up its not even worth doing. Now, back to the bible. The bible was writen by a man. Who knows what man? you don't? me either. Now, why don't we look at the bible like something such as alien abductions? Because of the ideas implanted into our brain by our ancestors. I want you to think about this for a moment, just forget whatever you beleive, Im going by the regular christian/catholic theory of creation. Okay, first there was nothing but god. Then god clapped his hands and make an amazingly complex system of molicules and atoms and dna and stars, and galaxies, and it just so happens that he made earth specially for us. he then created adam and eve, who proceeded to eat an apple that they werent supposed to, so now god punishes everyone, EVERYONE, OVER A ******** APPLE? now, i do know that its supposed to symbolize faith and the apple is what taught them to reproduce and all that, but seriously, why do we have to suffer because of what one stupid chick did? Then people say god is merciful? Is he? Really? do you truely and honestly beleive that when poor children who did never do anything wrong in their lives starve to death, that is merciful? If you do, then you are one twisted...nevermind. Okay, now, to racism. racism is stupid, humans are humans.Slavery or no, i think both white people and black people need to just get the ******** over it already. White people have no reason to be racist (im white) and black people also have no reason, and i'll tell you why. Alot of people don't think about this. Not all white people hate black people, but black people constantly act diffrently around white people, as do whites are blacks, but im getting off track. now, most black people dont realize that, without the white people that we're sick of slavery, and sick of black people being treated so horribly, Slavery would have never ended, we would probly still have slaves today. But we dont, and then who fought in the civil war? White people. White people died to free and protect the rights of black people, and this is how we get repayed? I say that we would be even after the civil war, but no, only a few years after black people won their freedom (actualy freedom, none of that segrigation bullshit) White people were already being treated like crap. Now Black peoples side of the story, Imagine just laying down in your bed, and then suddenly you wake up and your house is on fire, your neighbors are screaming, and you run outside, you see these strange beasts with sticks that shoot fire, they kind of resemble you, but you cant quite put your finger on what it is thats diffrent. then they take you onto a ship and make you row for 3 months. the first time you see land in 3 months, your now surrounded by the stange new creatures, which you have so dubbed, white. you see your friends. neighbors, even relatives, being hauled off, never to be seen agian, and then when you finnaly get sold, you have to work everyday of your entire life, and without geting paid. You basically get a house and 2 to 3 meals a day. This is basically prision, except you didnt do anything, you commited no crime except being of a darker skin tone. The person i just described probly died in slavery. now, we're talking about multiple deaths and multiple heart breaks on both sides, I would say white and black people are equal, the only people who should be pissed is jews. Jewish people always got the short end of the stick. And they had been percicuted, killed, burnd, imprisioned, all over their belief in god. Now, do you honestly think that if god were so merciful and mighty, that he would have let the halocaust happen? These we're people that beleived in him, sure, they didnt beleive in jesus, and posibly killed his son, but if he's so forgiving, how could he have taken pleasure in watching multiple people die, and do nothing about it? Yeah, well, thats my rant for the day, my god this was long, took me like 30 minutes to type....
