- Darkness, it was almost soul confuming. Rain pattered against the window, tapping around it gently. Letting out a soft sigh, the male parted his lips gently, the window opening just a crack to let him feel it. Moving his head gently down, he pressed his chin against the concrete edge, feeling pitting drops delicately float onto his lip, before rolling down. But where did they go? That was the darkness, it consumed them and used the energy, feeding off the water supply and raw salt from the teens lip.
Interruptions followed, the teen turned his head back, shutting the window, seeing his twin. The twin glided torwards him, her delicate soft hair parted to one side, almost matching the shade of the dark. She too, stared at the window, as if feeding off the darkness, his eyes were vivid.
"Drai, why are you still awake, it is almost dawn," she said, tugging gently on her oversized tee.
Drai didn't respond to Kira, as if she didn't exsist. He could see the gentle pink and yellow light just underneath the hill, and soon, the light was moving faster and faster, trying to win the darkness in rough battle. Of course, Kira had left too soon, and Drai noted that his cheek was gently pressed against the glass surface. What was that called, moist? Removing his cheek, he rubbed it gently with his cotton sweater. Pressing two equally cold fingers to the cheek, he groaned, seeing that they both matched.
A cry was heard down below, signalling that it was time for breakfast. How long had he been sitting, really? His topaz eyes turned to the clock, and he mentally counted. It had been four hours, and two hours and fourty-seven minutes since his twin left. Getting up, Drai walked through the cluttered room, almost being barraged by the sudden amount of clothes. Had those been there yesterday, he pondered.Ignoring it after a minute, he opened his tawny door, the handle jiggling slightly. Ignoring it, he moved down the wooden steps. copywrightofmylittleTragedy. Srsly, I made this, I spend time on this, you no steal.
The movement became a musical beat for Drai. He began humming gently, tapping his feet as he walked down the steps. His mother yelledmore and more, until he came to the kitchen.
:
"Where have you been? I've called you almost seven times!"
"Rain.."
"Not again, Drai, you know you get overly obsessed with those kind of things."
Drai walked past the two, sitting down at the end of the table, as far away as possible. He hated his mothers scolding, and he thought that it shuld have stopped since he was the tender age of seventeen. Rolling his eyes, his mother set down a large onsamble of food near him. Like usual, he took a piece of bread, mopping it gently with peanut butter and putting it in his mouth. His father had arrivedby the third slice, giving Drai and Kira his usual cold glance.
of course, his father never wanted twins, never in his lifetime, he wanted two little boys who were completely different from each other. He had gotten a quiet son and a very ponderous girl, who had expiremented with her hair almost every month. This month, her hair was a black, tied in two pigtails with dark golden ribbons. Her natural color was reddish brown, with some golden tints. His, was also black, but that was natural. His father payed no attention to them, sitting down in his usual seat, taking almost everything from the table. After his father had gobbled down everything, he got up and moved away from the table.
"a*****e," Drai muttered, and his father turned his head.
"What was that boy?"
He asked, slamming his hand down at the table, "D` you know you can never call your father that!" Now he was roaring. His mother had done what she could, taking his twin from the room and running upstairs. The boy didn't even wince. All he did was stick another peanut butter bread in his mouth and chew.
"I am right, aren't I?" Drai responded with a sarcastic remark. His fathers face was a dark red, and he looked like he could slaughter him in any second. What could he do, though? He knew that if he even touched him, he'd be sent to Jail. Lovely rules by the police departament, no. He had already a few scars from him, one that was done by a fork, just below his ear, the other was a cross type one on the back of his neck, which was covered by a tatoo of a dragon, probably the size of a squarter. Those would never heal, and it was obvious that his father wanted to hit him, so hard.
Luckily, his hand unteansed, and he moved, going into the hallway, opening the door, and slamming it shut. Within seconds, His mother and Kira had moved back from the hiding place, Kira sobbing. She ripped out of her mothers grasp, and move to Drai, hugging him closely like she did after every fight. If only his twin could be stronger, he thought.
"Did he touch you?" His mother asked, staring around to see blood anywhere. The only reason his mother stayed with him was because she could never find a job, and she needed the money he was bringing. Of course, Drai could lie, say that he was rammed straight in the arm, tell the police, and bam.But his mother would suffer most, and she was currently looking for any type of job possible. So Drai shook his head calmly, even if inside he wanted to scream. Drai had a problem not showing his emotions too well, since his father feeded off of them. That was why his mother had taken the liberty of hiding Kira.
Drai smiled at his mom, saying that everything was alright. "I'm going to go take a walk.." He muttered, walking down the hallway and to the door. His mother was fine with this, since it would let him get rid of false emotions. He opened the door, walking outside and feeling the sudden raindrops fall on his face.
