Hiding in Shadows You steal, you creep, you hide away, You hide away from my gaze A nervous smile passes lips, And we hide in shadows once again. No words, no warmth. What are names to us? We meet, we greet, we speak, We go our seperate ways And we hide in shadows once again. No friendship, no love. We pass by without a thought, No time to waste on friends. Friends that we call strangers So we hide in shadows again and again. With haste, we waste. You fear the eyes of someone else, The pain, longing, the need. The need in their eyes look to you And you hide in shadows once again. One glance, no chance. No life saved from shadows once again.
