A SimplyMorbid Tradgedy: prt I
Staring out the window into the tundra, her eyes caught glimpse of the icy daggers hanging from the whethered grape vines. They coiled around the window pane as if twining themselves into question marks toward the sun. A subtle sigh escaped from her full rouge lips as her dark hair draped the countours of her jaw. Quietly, she turned away from the diamonds that speckled the frosted glass and foccused her gaze on the neon red numbers counting down her demise. And with the blink of an eye, the shreiking alarm went off, her day was about to begin. She slipped on her thigh high boots that clung tightly to her skin and mumbled her farewell to her mother (which was pointless, her mother was far to lost in her high to even notice when Sissoli was either coming or going these days), and off she went. The snow crunched beneath her delicate steps. all was quiet, only the steam of her breath broke the silence. As she continued down the tunneling road, the trees wrapped themselves around her, completely engulfing the heavens above. Sissoli was your average young adult. Fierce, and insecure she had great attributes but was far to modest to notice them. Graceful and fragile, she had much to offer.

And as the dark sky broke, she carressed the silk ties of her ballet slippers which begun to unravel from the abusive love they were shown. Even her walk was a dance as she crossed the slick streets, leaping past headlights to the sanctity of the sidewalk ahead. Leaves from the forgotten Autumn were fossilized in pools of ice before her. Sissoli studied them curiously as she passed. She popped the collar of her charcoal peacoat and tightened it around her neck-in the blizzard about her, she appeared to be nothing more the a lonely raven without a care in the world. Fumbling for her cigarettes she paused at the concrete staircase.

this state of mind was her sanctuary. The building was bluntly, a s**t hole. The vintage molding had begun to rot and planks of siding had been lost over time. Several shingles were missing and the once intricate stained glass windows were tarped over carelessly. The old church was a place she'd been so familair with as a young girl. Sissoli could recall knealing in the pews with her mother and father, using her hands to create a cross with her body and muttering the 'hail marys'. Raised catholic, she knew nothing but guilt and fear. She inhaled the last puff of smoke and used her heel to diminish what was left of the spark in her life. She climbed the old steps and raced inside to escape the cold.

She found the abandoned cathedral to be a wonderful place to dance. Some years ago she has pushed the charred pews and alters to the blackened corners of the building and knew she could glide for hours never once being noticed. Carrying on like this was very much similar tohow she lived her life, beautifully, and secluded. She forced the door shut behind her, turning away the wind at the door step and smiked as the birds scattered to the above beams in fear. She tiptoed to the one remaining bench and begun to replace her boots with her worn slippers...

that was when she noticed him. He sat at the very opposite end, furthest from the door. His gleaming eyes dangerous and wild as they foccused on Sissoli. His charming smirk revealing vulnerability and hatred.
