The Elemental Warriors A quick bio of the characters in my mind. If I had any creativity, I might have made a story out if it.

My version of the Mafia games. It'll never see the light of day due to it's theme, but it's still got solid roles and abilities to be viable if there were enough willing players.

Cardcaptor Sakura Mafia

Roles:

Townies:

Kinomoto Sakura – The 10 year old heroine of the series, Sakura has been chosen by Clow Reed to be the new guardian of the cards. If she correctly identifies a player and the card they hold, that card is sealed for the owner and it's powers granted to Sakura temporarily. To discourage random guessing, an incorrect guess will negate Kero’s ability that night due to him following her to assist in what turns out to be a false alarm. If Kero is disposed of, Sakura can't use her ability the next day; as she is in mourning. If she chooses the same player and card a second time at any point, she has a 50% fail rate at sealing. If she is successful and she chooses the same card a third time, the fail rate is 75% and so on.

Night abilities and The Mirror will be hers until the day is over. Other abilities are not sealed until the next day, where she then assumes that role for the day.

Examples of her power: She identifies The Fiery that day. That night, The Fiery cannot make a kill, but Sakura can.

She identifies The Shadow that day. The next day, The Shadow loses their mask for the day and Sakura becomes The Shadow for that day, unable to use her own role until the next day.

She identifies The Illusion. Instead of assuming the power, she instead chooses what the player appears as if investigated or killed.

Li Syaoran – With his Jian Sword and Fulu Talismans of the elements, Syaoran can make one kill per day. If he targets Sakura, however, the killing traumatizes him and he loses his ability to kill.

Daidouji Tomoyo – Tomoyo is everywhere yu’d least expect her, and with her is her trusty camcorder. She can investigate one person per day to learn their role and alliance.

Kero – This nosy little winged plushie can use the Sakura Cards as Tarot cards. Each day he can ask a trio of questions and have them answered to the masses. He is immune to The Fiery since it is one of the two elemental cards he draws his power from.
(Any references to the Sakura Cards in the answers are NOT necessarily references to who has that card.)

Yue – The guardian of the Moon is fiercely loyal to Sakura, and by association, her allies. He can protect one person per day unless that person is targeted by The Nothing.

Mafia:

Hiiragizawa Eriol – As the reincarnation of Clow Reed, Eriol possesses powerful magic. He is immune to the attacks of Syaoran and The Nothing; he must be lynched. He also leads the Mafia by being the final decision on their kill. Spinel takes command if he dies, and Ruby after him.

Ruby Moon – A magical guardian created by Eriol to oppose Yue. She has the power to negate the ability of a chosen player once a day.

Spinel Sun – A magical guardian created by Eriol to oppose Kero. He can investigate one person a day.

The Fiery – The mafia member who owns The Fiery card is an especially violent person who loves bloodshed and destruction. Each day they can kill one person.

Neutral

The Nothing – Furious at being forgotten and deserted by the Sakura Cards, The Nothing won’t rest until all the cards are brought under her possession and everyone responsible has been punished. Can kill one person per day and wins if everyone else dies. If identified by Sakura, she can choose to expose The Nothing to Syaoran via coin-flip (Tomoyo if Syaoran is dead), OR she can try to seal it herself. If she chooses to tell, heads would send Sakura's identity to him, tails would send The Nothing's identity. Syaoran will not be told which was sent. He'll just get a name that could be either Sakura or The Nothing. If she tries to seal, heads would be killing The Nothing, tails would be her getting killed by The Nothing. If Sakura has no one to tell, her chance of sealing success is 75%. She is immune to The Fiery.

Other:
(Note: These roles are added or subtracted to a game based on the number of players. All roles here will be randomly aligned to balance the sides unless specified.)

Mihara Chiharu, Sasaki Rika, Yanagisawa Naoko – These three girls have been inseparable best friends since they first met. They start the game knowing who each other is, and their innocence. They always play for the town side.

The Mirror – The player who possess The Mirror card is spared from the first attempt on their life; if targeted by anyone with killing powers, The Mirror will take their place.

The Shield - The owner of The Shield can use its guarding powers to prevent Roleblocking and Investigating on one target. If the guarded target is chosen, the prevented ability will be reflected to a random target.

The Watery – If the owner of The Watery is killed by Syaoran, The Fiery, or The Nothing, the card will turn into a puddle by the corpse, the moonlight reflecting the image and identity of the killer.

The Illusion – The one who possesses The Illusion card is a master of disguise. PM's the mod once a day with the role and alliance they wish to appear as for the day. They will appear as their chosen role and alliance if investigated. Upon death, they will not be revealed as The Illusion, but instead as the role and alliance they were using at the time.

The Erase - The owner of The Erase card has the power to nullify the vote of one person once a day.

The Dream - The Dream card has the ability to trap a person in a dream of the users choosing. Once a day, the carrier can change the vote of one person.

The Twin - The two players who own The Twin card are partners who do everything together. They start knowing each other and their shared alliance. Will always play for the town in place of the BFTrio unless the game goes over 19 players, in which they will play on the Mafia's side in tandem with the town Trio.

The Shadow – The mafia member in possession of The Shadow card will appear as a good-willed townie if investigated. Always a Mafia.

The Time – The Townie who holds The Time card is a unique player. On the normal day to day basis, they’re just a regular townie. But through the power of The Time, this townie can make a semi ultimate sacrifice to alter history or future.

Examples of this power are: If killed, they can revive themselves at the cost of their ability. They may sacrifice their power to undo the killing of another, or they may sacrifice it to amplify the abilities of a chosen player for one day. (I.E. Syaoran can kill twice that day, Tomoyo can investigate two people, Yue can protect two people.)

If killed by The Nothing while still in possession of the card (Ability not used yet), that player takes the card before an ability can be used and gains the power to kill twice a day. Time is always a town player.
