I will be posting my story Have Hope here. its a fanfic of the jonas brothers enjoy! biggrin

NOTE: this story is supposed to be during the prime time of JB’s career

It was August 3rd and I was sixteen. I was SO excited to get to see my favorite band, who I had loved for two years, live for the first time; the two tickets were a birthday present. Three words. The. Jonas. Brothers. Kevin. Joe. Nick. I’d tell you I loved them for two years, when my cousin came over and told me how great they were. I’d also tell you that I believed subconsciously I’ve loved them longer. Not like that really matters though.
Anyway. Back to he important stuff. I was having so much fun singing and rocking out with my best friend watching the boys we love. All too fast it was over. If you ask me about it though sometimes I get so caught up in memories its like I’m there. So slowly we filled out. My friend, Cassandra, and I were hungry and needed a caffeine fix so we went to Starbucks. That was the real life changing decision. Funny something small like going to Starbucks shapes your life isn’t it?

“I’ll have a cappuccino and a chocolate muffin.” Cass told the man.
“One large hot coco with whipped cream and….that donut.” I told him.
“That will be $16.50” the clerk told us.
“I’ll pay, Jaci. You drove.” Cass handed the man a twenty.
“Fine. I’ll get a table. And don’t call me Jaci. Its JACQUELNEI!” I informed her walking away. In the corner was a small quiet booth I sat down at. Cass followed me after.
“Man, I really don’t want to drive home.” I told her
“Yea bummer. I’m pooped, you must be too.”
“Hmm..” I mumbled nibbling the donut.
“How can you eat that?” Cass asked disgust lining her voice.
“How can you not? Hey we should probably split I want to get home ASAP. I have to work tomorrow.”
“Yea ok.” She replied as we got up.
I walked over to the trash and started to walk out when two things happened at the moment I reached the door. A sort of muscular figure opened the door and I screamer because my cell phone started to shout at me “On the Line.” I scrambled for the phone and answered it, it being my mother. Meanwhile the figure was talking to three others and chuckling…that figure looked really familiar.
“Hey mom could you wait a sec.” I turned to Cass, “We should sit back down. This could be a while. OK. I’m back Mom.” Slowly the four figures walked into the light. And a combination of my a) brain not functioning properly as it being one in the morning and b) my mom yelling.
“Ok mom. Chill. We’ll find him.” Him being our fat pug dog, Monty. “Yes I saw him before we left. Right Cass?”
“Right! But Jacqueline I think you might want to see who just walked in..”
“Not now. OK mom. Did you feed him? Alright did you check under the beds? Ok what about my closet? Or your Closet?” pauses “ Well there you go no need to worry. Yea, were heading home. No we just stopped for Starbucks. Yes were leaving and yes I know to be safe driving home. Alright? Bye.”
“Ok Cass. What did you want?” I asked.
“Well I think you should have a look over there” she said pointing to were the figures were now sitting.
“ok…” I turned my head, “Oh! My God! Lets go over there!” I said grabbing her hand.
“Hi” he said when we walked up.
“You’re Nick Jonas! And Kevin and Joe!” I told him.
“Yup. And you are a Jonas fan, right?” he asked I shock my head fast and excitedly.
“I’m Jacqueline and this is Cassandra, but call her Cass…Wow I can’t believe this! Oh man I’m a huge fan.” I told him.
“Cool. Did you guys come from the concert?” Joe asked.
“Yes. Man it was amazing! I got the tickets for my birthday. It was our first concert!” I added.
“Well happy birthday!” Nick told me.
“Thanks, but it was kind of in March.” I informed him as I began to sit next to him, “You don’t mind us sitting here do you?”
“Not for such pretty girls,” Joe said as Nick punched him in the arm, “hey dude such speaking the truth!” I started to blush.
“You know you guys are hotter in real life?” Cass blurted out. She then turned as bright as a tomato. We all laughed.
“So Kevin. Is it true about your Starbucks radar?” I asked.
“Of course! Do you girls like coffee?” He asked.
“I do.” Cass said.
“Nope I hate coffee. Its way gross” I informed them.
“Don’t worry she’s just crazy.” Cass told them.
“Oh this coming from the one that hates donuts!” I shot back.
“Wow! Who doesn‘t like donuts?” they all questioned.
“Apparently only me” Cass answered as my phone rang for a text.
“Hm that’s weird.” I mumbled looking at my phone.
“What’s weird?” Cass asked.
“My cousin texted me at what time is it? Oh at 1:30 in the morning. And the funny thing is its about you guys,” I told them with a glance in Joe, Nick and Kevin’s direction, “ Well actually my cousin, Kay is another huge fan. She’s seeing your concert tomorrow. She wanted to know how it was.”
“Well we should say hello to her,” Joe said with a mischievous grin, “We should call her!”
“Oh my god! Do you know how much she would freak?! She was the one who first showed me the light!” I said.
“Uh what light?” Nick asked.
“Well technically when she came over one we end she was the one who told me about you guys…she’s kind of obsessed. Like she thought these old dolls I had looked like you and she was playing with them. It was actually really funny because she was like thirteen and looking like a dumb a** playing with dolls.”
“ok…” Joe looked a little lost.
“You probably now think were stokers,” I said.
“No, not really. I mean were used to some crazy stuff. I do have to say though that is one of the craziest!” Kevin told us.
“Hey guys,” Big Rob, their bodyguard walked up, “It’s getting late.”
“Oh crap, I still have to drive.” I complained, “Well better get going. Cass I’m going to the bathroom before we leave.”

Nick’s POV
As she walked away I was amazed. She was just so intriguing and pretty. Her friend began to get up too.
“I’ll go too,” She said.
As soon as they we out of ear range, “Guys I need help. How should I ask for her number?” I asked my brothers.
“Well. I’d just give yours to her and see what she does.” Joe, the ladies’ man told me.
“Ohh Nick’s found a girlfriend,” Kevin began to tease.
“Hey come on!” I said whacking him gently in the head, “She might hear you!”
“Man just hurry up. I need my beauty sleep,” Joe complained.
“Joe I don’t think that will help!” Kevin began again.
“Dude why are you being such a pain?” I asked.
“That’s what big brothers do” He replied, leaning toward me to give me a nugy.
As Jacqueline and Cass walked back, I quickly scrawled my cell phone number on a napkin. Taking a deep breath I approached her, “We have to go, but this is my number. Call me sometime. Okay?”
“Oh yeah sure,” she said taking the paper from me, “Uh do you want my number?”
“Just text it to me ok?” I told her.
“Sure. I got to go. I’ll talk to you later!” she said as she walked away. Now I just had to wait patiently. This would be hard.

Jacqueline’s POV
“What do you think I should do? I‘m not sure I‘d even want a boy” I asked Cass. She was better at this boy stuff. She’d had like four boyfriends since seventh grade. When school started we would be Juniors. I’d had one. And it ended badly.
“I’d text him tomorrow. Just say hey. Be causal. See what he says.” she instructed.
“Ok I can do that. But first I’d like to get some sleep. I have to work tomorrow.”
“Yea I know. I do too, ‘member?” she said with a yawn, “Alright. ‘Night”
“ ‘Night”

Nicks POV
When I woke up, my mind was on her. I thought of all the possible ways this relationship could stay alive, given if we even started to date. None ended well. They all had the same problem. Distance. It wasn’t fair. I’d seen millions of girls. This one, Jacqueline, was different. I couldn’t explain it. It was just a gut feeling, something I just knew would happen. Something I wanted. For almost two years, since our career took off, there was no time for girlfriends, barely even friends. Sometimes I felt like the only friends we had were the band and Maya. It was insane. I love what I do but I felt this one girl just might make me have a run for my money.

“Dude. Why hasn’t she texted me?” I complained.
“You know she might already have a boyfriend?” Kevin asked.
“She may not like you,” Joe told me while munching on his cereal.
“You’re no help what so ever. You know that?” I asked them.
“Joseph, don’t talk with food in your mouth.” Mom scolded him.
“Yea Joseph.” I stuck my tongue out at him, “Hey Mom, can you make me some pancakes? Please?”
“No. You can’t exactly make pancakes in a moving bus. And you’re old enough to do it yourself.” She told me.
“Fine. I’ll have cereal.” I pouted. From my bunk, I heard my phone go off.
Hey.
That’s it? I thought Was Joseph right? Did she not like me? Only one way to find out.
Nick: Hey. What’s up?
J: just woke up u?
N: eating cereal
J: what kind?
N: fruity pebbles
J: my fave! g2g. Work. L but ttyl!
N: bye
“Oh Nick, who was that? Girlfriend?” Joe teased.
“Hey Joe you should really learn to grow up. The maybe be you’ll finally get a girl” I told him.
“Oh want some ice for that burn? Nice one Nick!” Kevin high-fived me.
“Mommy! Did you hear what Nicolas just said?” Joe said innocently.
“Well it’s true Joseph.” She told him.
“Double burn!” Kevin yelled.

One Month Later Jaci POV
Cass and I were driving home from our jobs at Barns and Noble. We both loved reading, so it was the perfect job. One more month and we would start school. We were dreading.
“When do you want to do our back to school shopping?” I asked.
“What about a day after work? Or maybe before?” She responded.
“I think before would work.” I told her. We were sitting at a red light. Suddenly it turned green. I hit the gas, but another car coming from our right didn’t stop. I didn’t see it coming until the cars collided. I heard Cass scream, and everything went black.

I woke up drenched. Man that was bad. In my dream I was in a car accident. Cass was hurt. It was my fault.
I slowly opened my eyes. I wasn’t home. I was uncomfortable and sticking in my own sweat. Eww. Where was I?
“Honey? Are you awake?” I heard my mom whisper.
“Mom?” I asked scanning the room for her.
“I’m here.” She got up from the chair in the corner and up her hand on my head. “Are you ok?”
“No. what am I doing here?” I asked confused.
“Hun. You were in an accident on your way home from work.” She explained.
“What? Where’s Cass?” I asked tears welding up in my eyes.
“Don’t worry about it now. Just sleep.” She instructed.
“No. Where’s Cass, Dammit!” I yelled.
“Shh. Honey.. Cass is gone.” She whispered.
“No.” Tears rolled down my face, “And its my fault”
“No, don’t say that. You couldn’t help it. It was a drunk driver.”
“If I would have been paying attention none of this would have a happened. What am I going to do? Cass was my best friend. I’ve know her since kindergarten.” I sobbed.
“I know” I saw my mom get tears in her eyes too. This could not be happening.

Nick’s POV
I knew something was weird with Jaci. She hadn’t texted me in a week. Before, we’d text each other daily. I asked Kevin and Joe, but they were no help what so ever. As usual. Frankie was bigger help. At least he helped me take my mind off things. I tried texting every day, but there was never a reply. Until Monday. Nine days since I last talked to her.
J: sorry I didn’t reply. I was at the hospital
N: no way r u ok?
J: no not at all
N: whats wrong?
She never replied after that. I was even more confused. Everyone was getting angry I wouldn’t shut up about her. But I had a weird gut feeling some thing was majorly wrong.
2 days later
I couldn’t stand waiting at all. Finally I just tried to google her. How hard could it be? People googled me everyday. But I was wrong. It was extremely hard. Finally I found out where she lived. Looks like Nick J is making a visit to some place called Livermore, California.
