For the longest time now I've been wondering when they where going to make changes to the journals since they where making changes to a bunch of other things. I was hoping for new journal styles. But I guess maybe some day they'll make more of those. But I really don't like the new journal update much. Especially the whole making the rest of your entry in a link if it's too long. Most people don't like clicking on links so I don't really see the point in that. If I'm reading something really interesting I wouldn't want to stop and click on a link to continue. It takes up too much time since I have dial up conection.
Also another thing bugging me is that, everyone's journal is visible to me; but mine keeps saying on my profile that it's been disabled. xd That really makes me wonder.
Well, another thing I don't like about these new journal features is the new comment style. I prefer classic because the new style makes the comments show up under your signature which it's annoying to scroll all the way down there just to check the comments. Well that's all I don't like about the revamped journals.
One thing I do really love about it though is that you can see who has featured journal. I missed featured journals so much. I always loved reading peoples awesome journals that where in the spot light and now I can start up again collecting awesome journals in my subscriptions.
