-Chapter Seven-
-Paralyzed with fear-
Fric looked up and down, seeing no one, only darkness. 'Where the hell if he?' he thought, still looking. In the darkness he could see a red dim light, of course he didn't say anything, seeing he didn't know what it could do. He put his hand on his gun.
Envy remained to growl by V's side as he pet him. "Pride, why don't you show yourself to us?" V asked.
"Why? Because I already am, you just have to look hard enough, Like the boy, He's already found me."
"Eh? How would you know!?" Fric yelled yelled.
"Your fear. I feed off people's fear, it makes me oh so happy <3" it said, "Oh don't bother telling V, If you do, I'll I kill her." it finished.
Fric stared at V dumb-founded, "Ooh, more fear~!"
V stared into the darkness, a pair of red eyes in the darkness. She felt motionless, unable to move, barely able to breath. The petting of Envy stopped.
"V?" Fric called, "V!" No answer from her.
"I'm sorry to say," the voice called seeming to come closer, "That she is paralyzed with fear." A laugh could be heard echoing.
Envy growled.
"b*****d..." Fric said, then looked at his comrade, then to the red eyes, he could now make out a body shape, tall, and normal body shape and...a woman.
"Surprised young man?" she said, "You shouldn't be, woman are far more superior then men."
Fric glared at her, and pointed the gun at her, "I wouldn't dare move."
"Why? You'll shoot me with harmless bullets, do it." she said.
"Fine." he shot at her.
A scream filled the room, "These aren't regular bullets! there...fill with Ho-" she died, then faded away to dust, just the darkness, revealing torches along the walls.
Fric looked to V, she still was unmoved from her spot, Envy licked her hand, but she didn't move. Fric stared at her, and soon enough she began to fall, Envy withstood her fall. Fric patted Envy, "Good dog..." he picked up V and placed him on his back. Envy at his side they walked down the hallway following the torches.
