Jasmine pulled up to a old abandoned house that her mother to her to stop at. She stepped out of the car, and reached for the car door, when she noticed that her once creamy colored skin on her arms was now a reddish color. And as she looked farther up, she saw that it was beginning to peel the higher the red went. "Eww, gross" she said, softly peeling off a piece of dead skin. "Aloe Vera, know to soothe the pain of burnt and or peeling skin, cure it, and even take away the stinging hotness of the burn." Jasmine snatched the small tube away from Lilians' hand, and applied it generously to her burns. " Your more than welcome" Lilian looked up from her book, and saw Jasmine throw the empty tube onto the ground next to a trash can. " O great" Lilian murmured, under her breath. "You first finish off my tube of Aloe Vera, then you carelessly throw the empty tube onto the ground, when the trash can is right there! Real nice!"
Lilian watched as Jasmine rubbed in the Aloe Vera, when something occured to her. She lightly tapped Jasmine on the shoulder, and Jasmine winced in pain. " Oohh, sorry. But I just thought of something. Your mom said meet her at the bazar right. Well, I'm not hearing anything that sound like a bazar would. Are you sure we went the right way?" Jasmine looked at her, still grimacing in pain. " Duh, just because im blone dosen't make me stupid. Of course we are going the right way. Look here, I'll show you" Jasmine reached over to the glove compartment, and pulled out the make map her mother drew out for her. She straightened it out, handed it to Lilian, and pointed to the picture of the house on the map. " See, as it says right here, 'Go two miles due east to Perkinsburg', which is the name of the house here, 'Then do a ten minute walk through The Everglade Forest. P.S I bought you some new underwear hunny, and some new' Moving on!" Lilian looked around, and glaced at Jasmine. " I'm not seeing an forest nearby" "Well, maybe it's around the corner of the house" Jasmine walked over to the edge of the house, and peeked around the corner. She spotted a foresty looking green and black lump on the very edge of the lush green fields of grass. "Well, that could be it" she murmured under her breath. Lilian lightly poked her shoulder, and whispered in her ear "What could be it?" Jasmine screamed, and fell to the ground. " Why you..!" She stood up, brushed herself off, and stormed off in the direction of the car, leaving Lilian behind doubled up laughing. "Well then, if your gonna act like than, then you better start walking to the forest now, for I aint taking you there." Jasmine jumped into the car, winced in pain from the reaction from her arms, grabbed the hat that she had put in her purse, carefully placed it on her head so not to mess up her hair, and drove off, leaving Lilian behind laughing.
As Jasmine pulled the car to a stop at the edge of the forest, she turned around to look back at the old house. She looked around to see if she could see Lilian, and if so, pondered if she could go back and get her. " Well, it is a hot day, and she could get burned like I did. And besides, it was a harmless old..." "Looking for someone?" Jasmine turned around, and saw Lilian walk out from behind a nearest tree. "But...how...huh?" Jasmine stammered, eyebrows creasing with confusion. "How did you get here so fast?" "I ran" Lilian replied, with a smirk on her face. " Psssh. You couldn't have ran that fast that you beat me here. How did you really get here?" "A magician never revials her tricks!" her smirk becoming a grin. " LILIAN!" Jasmine yelled as she walked toward Lilian. " Okay okay. While you were putting on your hat, I climbed into the truck, and the while you where looking for me, I climbed out, and went around the right side so you wouldn't see me, and went behind a tree" Lilian stood side by side Jasmine, and turned to face the forest. "So this is the forest" she said in a hushed tone, observing the forest. " I guess so..." replied Jasmine, in a softer voice, gazing into the forest. The trees loomed from the darkness, as if the were tring to escape. Besides from the odd bird caw, or soft sounds within the forest, everthing was quiet. And the leaves conjoined at the top of the trees danced in the breeze that was not the. " Well, lets get going! e have a lot of ground to cover!" said Jasmine, breaking the silence. She grabbed Lilians hand, pulling her towards the outskirts of The Everglade Forest.
