Ok, so this isn't really going in order of what happened, but whatever. Anyway, so while we were in the DC area we stayed in Virginia and of course we had to eat. The first place we went to eat was called "The Capitans Galley" so of course we all assumed there was going to be sea food, especialy since we were close to the Chesapeak Bay. Man were we wrong. When we entered there was all of this sea parafinalia but when we approched the buffet what did we find? There was chicken, ham, mashed potatoes, salad, macoroni and cheese, and various desserts, but no sea food. Not only that, but the food was frightfully mediocre. My friend was really pissed off because she wanted to try the blue crab, but that's how it goes. Next we went to a itialian place that was actually pretty good, but the best food by far had to have been the french food place. Twas pretty darn awesome. It was called "Vie de France" There was chicken in a garlic butter sauce with mushrooms, rice pilaf, fresh french bread with herb garlic butter, salad,(there was also pink pickled onions that were pretty good) and cookies and brownies for dessert. What was really awesome was that the owner guy said that if one of us could answer a question about France correctly he would give us a piece of awesome chocolate cake. I was like 'Woot! I'm in French class! I could totally answer this!' The question was to name a city in France. When he said this everyones hands went up, but then he added that it couldn't be Paris and all the hands went own, all the hands except for mine of course. I know a lot of cities in France mrgreen . Needless to day, I answered the question correctly and got the cake. Being the nice person I am, I shared with my class. I have to say though, the chocolate bunt cake from Sams Club is better. (Wow, all that about food. Tell you anything xd )
