Okay, so Sweet French Maid's day is a new, upcoming holiday-- and fast! Now, I know no one knows about it, since my sister and I have just come up with it. Rest assured, it is a great idea and wonderful excuse for a holiday. Also, it could create more reasons to miss work/school/throw a party.

Now, let me go into detail about this Sweet French Maid's Day. It resembles that of Valentine's day, but the color scheme is not a monochromatic sort consisting of red's and such. This is also a costuming-sorts for the day, where wearing the following is completely acceptable (more so than usual) and even encouraged to be worn:

1] French Maid
2] Regular Maid
3] Casanova
4] Princess
5] Wafflehouse employee

Though, the costuming is not limited to those! Be creative, imaginative, and think about those Sweet French Maid's!

Now, dressing up is always fun, but it's even better with many others! Including the most important thing -- Your Sweet French Maid! Every person can choose another to be their "Sweet French Maid" by asking them first, either with a gift (which is always much more pleasant and acceptable) or with sincerety and good intentions.

You could also ask to be someone's "Sweet French Maid" instead of asking for THEM to be the Sweet French Maid. This would mean the other would be the Casanova (Millionaire, Pimp, ect.)

This also means that the Casanova/Sweet French Maid is usually determined by "First asked, first made", but in the case of a male/female relationship, the female is always the Sweet French Maid and the male is always the Casanova. Not sexist, that's just how it's to be made.

Now, time for a gift. Can't think of anything? It's not that hard, you can go to just get them a card for the occassion, or going so grand as to get some sort of pet or house for the lover. Here are some nice suggestions for gifts on such a day (themed around the day, of course):

To the Sweet French Maid:

- A razor (we all know the French are hairy)

To the Casanova:

Of course, feel free to get anything you like, nothing is limited except to your imagination and romance scale. This is a time for celebration, and a time to love your Maid or Casanova! Now, you're all set for Sweet French Maid's day. Mark your calendars and get ready!
