She didnt know what waited for her
as she sat there in the dark
Death came up and caressed her face
with a long boney hand
Beckoning her to follow him
and she went without a sound
all around her voices rang
"This is what you wanted"
No more blood shed
No more tears
"Just follow me, child and I can lead you out of here"
She uneasily looked at her feet
Her mind raced with thoughts
But she knew all along that this is what she wants
