If Only; Poetry
Inspiration put into words.
Excitement!!
This is not a poem this time. I'm just really excited becuase one of my poems, Undiscovered Miracles, got published! Like getting one of my poems published isn't enough, I'm also in the semi-finals for a contest that if I win, I'll get a $500 dollar grant for college! Although I'm barely going into 8th grade, that money can help a lot once I do get to college! I just was very excited so I wante to post here 3nodding If you want to see my poem, its in my journal. Its one of the earlier entries 3nodding

Thanks Slinky! I really do hope I win but I'm not sure about the famous poet thing. Who knows. I pretty sure many other people are better poets than I blaugh

With that attitude, maybe. You must believe, oh one of little faith. Just believe in yourself. What's the worst that could happen?

You're right. I was just nervous about the whole thing and about not winning and stuff and what if readers hate my poem.

I know it'll be hard to do, but try not to worry or be nervous. Stop questioning the "What if's?". As long as you tried your best and gave your all, you should be content with that. If readers don't like your poem, well, you can't please everyone now can you? As long as you feel confident about your poem, that's all that matters.
