My Derek and I were sitting on the curb, eating some pudding, two per person. I had mine next to me while I finished up my first as Derek worked on his second. And a kid came up to us, around the age of ten I do believe.

He says to me "Can I have your pudding?"

I do not answer, because I am enjoying my pudding. Derek speaks for me.

"Young'un, I do not think it wise for you to be buggin' this here Young Ariel for her pudding."

"And why not?" The little boy asked. I glanced up at him and said nothing, enjoying my pudding still. "No one is eating it."

"Now. No one is eating it. Now. Just because it remains untouched now, doesn't mean it shall not be consumed later," I told the boy, but did not listen. He went for the pudding.

"Young'un," Derek warned.

Then I stopped enjoying my pudding, and glared up at the boy. "Boy if you lay a finger on the spoon I will personally devour that young soul of yours!"

And the boy looked at me. Then walked away. I had saved my pudding :] and I enjoyed it very much.

The lesson of this story? Do not touch my pudding. Ever.
