My mom's going on a trip to New York with her girlfriends this week. So, in her perennial battle against gray hair, she dyed it. She dyed it, not with her natural hair color which is black, but with burgundy. For those unfamiliar, burgundy is a sort of dark red color. And liquid burgundy dye, when being applied to hair, looks just like blood.
She asked me to help her and being the faithful child I am, I did. The whole time I had to fight back the bile that was rising in my throat. I knew that it was dye, that once the process was over, it would look cool. But, at that moment the dye looked like blood, and it was creepily dripping down her back. I had to dab the excess up with cotton balls and it looked like blood.
My sister came in and I begged her with my eyes to take over. She laughed at my plight and left. Sigh, it's nice to know I have a weak constitution. sweatdrop
