amusedwriter rambles
Things I write for no apparent reason other than to pass the time. Most stories have no endings, but contain an awful lot of meaningless dialogs. Other entries are basically boring life occurrences that have nothing to do with my stories whatsoever.
The County Fair!!!
I don't like carnivals really. They're too crowded and filled with obnoxious people. I don't like riding rides all that much either...anyways my family went this afternoon. My niece and nephew were too short to ride any of the rides, so I was given the job of taking them around to see the farm animals. First building we went in had fenced in areas with goats. For some odd reason my nephew loved them...and I got to thinking...if we had a goat, we wouldn't need to mow our lawn anymore ....and I could have loads of fun watching it tackle the kids it didn't like rofl . My dad said "well, what about the mouse you wanted?" (I wanted a mouse, because : they're cool, they scare my sister, it would annoy my cat, and because I just think they're a cool pet). I said the goat would benefit everyone in that no one would have lawn duty and it would lower our gas usage, while the mouse would be mine. He said "good point...but someone would still have lawn duty in cleaning up it's crap" and I thought it was a small downside to a good plan for punishing siblings stare . Oh well, it's no real loss to me. Anyways....the cows were fat and gross (maybe they ate someone, boogie). The sheep tried to eat my niece's hair (she screamed). Chickens are diseased birds... and there was a petting zoo!! Not your average petting zoo I must say! They had lemurs, macaws, tortoises, pythons, kangaroos, and a black leopard (not allowed to pet, but it was there). The kangaroo was a baby and his name was Charlie. He was really soft, almost like rabbit's fur...

As we started to leave we got more entertainment!! At first we thought they were joking. There were these two ride operators fighting. Not screaming, mind you, but throwing punches and slamming the other's face into the dirt. We noticed shortly after it started that they were not fooling around. All of a sudden, one throws the other guy over his back and body slams him into the ground (I thought "ouch" it looked like it hurt). It was WWE, only real!!! Then they got a little too close to my nephew for my liking and I had to pull him out of the way as the other slammed the first guy right in the face and then kneed him in the stomach. This lady comes over (they are still fighting) and she tells them to cut it out, because there was children around, obviously they paid no attention to her. Then this other ride operator comes and he picks up one of them under one arm and pulls him away from the fight eek . I was all "whoa, he's strong" and then the managers came over and started questioning them. They couldn't find out which had started it until someone in the crowd showed up with his camera phone rolleyes and showed them the "great footage" he had.

Then I bought taffy and we left blaugh domokun . I wish carnivals were this fun every year!!!

I've got a friend in Australia and when I spent the Christmas holidays there his family took me around all the places where a) the tourists went and b) where the tourists didn't know about. It was cool. The females had Joeys in their pounches and everythin ^^. Oh btw sorry I havent been communicating too well lately but I've been dashin about and get minimal time on here. Well til next free night when I can leave a comment dramallama

Awesome! I would have wanted to pet a macaw. And i've never even seen a real fight before, it would have been interesting. I didn't get to go to any fairs this year. cry
