Ethril's randomness
It's just a place for me to put what happens in my real, internet, and role play life, and a place where I put everything and anything.
China Trip fun
So...I guess I better tell you guys how my trip to China went huh? Not much really happened and all that, but people have been asking so...here goes nothing:

As you all know, at least those I've told a billion times, I'm in a music group called the Metropolitain Youth Symphony. I've been with them for over 7 years now and 2 years ago the top group, the Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Band, went to Austria, Hungry, and Italy for a performance tour. That was a load of fun since we went to Venice, one of my favorite places in the whole world! (back to the China trip! :: slaps self:: )
Anyway, for this trip (MYS has these tour trips every few years) we went to four cities in China. Beijing, Xian, hangzhou, and Shanghai.

Beijing was one of the two cities we stayed at the longest, the other being Shanghai. My first impression when we got there...well, actually my first impression was I felt like I was going to drown just by breathing in the air! It's so hot and humid over there you wouldn't believe! The first day there, or at least the first night there, was nice. The sun was out, there were a few clouds in the sky, sorta like home. We were told that the clear sky that we saw was very rare for Beijing, we didn't understand until a couple days later.
Anyway, the first night. For dinner we went to the original Peking Duck restaurant. The food was ok, though one of my room mates decided not to eat anything because she decided to go full out vegetarian for the trip (really dumb decision).

I'll add more later, I have to head to bed.

My step-dad frequents China through out the year. He says he can't eat the food there because it scares him. Their food is so different then ours. So I'm afraid I'd starve if I ever visited China. @___@;;

Trust me, I almost did. They put :: shivers :: fish heads on the plate...and duck heads...and I felt sick, I mostly ate rice and watermelons.
