CHAPTER 5
Dear Diary,
I can't believe I'm taking the time to write in this while im running for my life! It's like I have to write in this. It wants me to... Well, I checked all over the house, but couldn't find anything that looked that important. While I was up in the attic I found a small box of letters. I think one of them might have a secret in it, so i took the box. I'll go through them later. After I took the box, I looked out the attic window and saw Jordan walking up to the house. The man must have been hiding nearby. They probably thought Jordan could get close to me to kill me since I tust him. I noticed he was holding a small vile with some sort of red liquid in it. I started to run down the stairs and heard the doorbell ring. I couldn't breath. I was so frightened. I ran out the back door and into the woods. However, Jordan heard the door slam behind me and both the men started running after me! I ran as fast as I could and then fell off a sudden drop of the ground. I crawled to the edge and hid there. Soon I could hear the men talking. Jordan said, "We lost her!"
"No matter. She is gone and now we can get to it. After we do we can easily kill her with it."
All I was thinking was "KILL?!" What is going on here? I came here on vacation, to relax. Not to be running from danger, or trying to be killed! After they left, I found a safer place to hide, near a river deeper in the woods. That is where I am now. I am going to go through these letters now. I'll write more when I can.
