I see you through the looking glass,
Watch everything you do;
How I would love to be up there,
Seeing the world with you.

I am trapped in a world
Where my life has been set in stone for me
I have little say in what I do,
And I will never be able to leave.

But, one day I got the chance to meet you;
Once separated by the mirror,
Now together at last,
In a place so very dear.

You had me from hello,
From the loving smile on your face
You told me to follow you,
And youd show me this strange place.

You took me to the carnival
On a cold and windy day
But just your presence
Was enough to warm me all the way.

Then, you showed me the sunset,
When day turns to night;
You taught me how to live through life,
Without a single fright.

Then one night, under the blue moons light,
You said to me, I love you.
These words scared me more than anything
Because I knew this was to good to be true.

In that moment, I must have lost it
Because I wished with all my heart
To find a place in the universe
Where wed always be apart.

The world shuddered and collapsed
Because my wish had come true;
I was being sucked back into my world,
To a place without you.

But now I see you through the looking glass,
All sad and teary-eyed;
Well never have the chance to meet again,
And Ill never get to say, I loved you, too.
