After waiting for awhile, that Spencer guy started snooping where he didn't belong. Both myself, and the old man, reprimanded him for it, but it didn't seem to work too well. We waited some more after that, until some ghost finally told us where to go. I followed him, and he told me the words to cast a portal to this place where Thanatos was currently residing.
I kind of am curious about that ghost, though. Why would he help us, and why is he in Thanatos's house? I do remember her saying something about the portraits in the staircase, but I don't know which one he was. Or WHY he's important. I'll ask her someday.
Anyway, I arrived in this giant cathedral, and ran into the guy who wrote the book I was to give to Thanatos. Who turned out to be my own great grandfather. I mean, I knew it was a relative of mine, but not a LIVING one. Even if he was only part of the same person. He separated his soul from his body, somehow. He probably used some dark spell to do so, but I can't be certain. We talked for awhile, then headed into the main area, where Thanatos is. My great grandfather didn't follow me, however. He said he was going to return to his body, then come back here. No matter what other people did.
Another unanswered question I have is, what's wrong with him? One does not normally detach their soul from their body, unless it's for a good reason. Again, I'll have to ask later..
Moving on..
I rejoined the others, and approached Thanatos, to hand her the book I was supposed to. When I reached her, I tripped over a floor board, and ended up accidentally kissing her. Not that I was complaining, or anything..
Anyway, it turns out some Penguin was messing with us, and made the floorboard stick up on purpose. Thanatos then attempted to kill it herself(After it made a perverted remark to her), but didn't kill it quickly enough. Thomas killed it seconds before she did. He then asked me why I'm pretending he didn't like it, and if it was this girl he liked, he'd gladly do the same thing to her if he had a chance. He then said I should simply tell her. I then said I'd tell her if he told me who he liked.
It's apparently some girl named Liall that he met while traveling through Russia. She likes someone else, so he can't have her. Then he demanded I keep up with my end of the bargain, and I did. Now, I'm waiting for her response.
Talk about nerve wracking..
