So the "Ride of the Valkyries" that they're playing isn't quite the real version...it's more like a Mannheim Steamroller-ish version. Sigh.

Right now I'm sad because apparently starting in January, my classical radio station is going to start playing NPR news shows for quite a lot of the day, supposedly in order to attract newer, younger listeners. The sad thing is, we already have an FM station that plays those same shows, and there's an AM station that plays the news all day. If I wanted to listen to news, I would listen to those stations. But I want to listen to classical music, dammit. Now I regret that my car doesn't play CDs... crying
