No, I'm not singing "Smooth Criminal," I learned how to save a life this weekend!

Greg and I were at the hospital training center as patient actors, and while we were waiting for the class to use us, we played around with the dummies in the equipment room. Apparently the dummies are named "Annie", and u have to start off by shaking them and saying, "Annie are u ok?" Then u give 2 rescue breaths with the bag mask valve, and if they're still not breathing, u can intubate if the paramedic gives the ok. Yep! I learned how to intubate a patient, and I even got it under 30 seconds on my first try! And then I learned how to give CPR, which can be a pain since u have to keep doing it until the person comes back, or someone with an AED or shock system shows up. And I even got an ECG of my heart, which Greg says looks fine to him.
Then I was put in a car and extracted by a whole bunch of paramedic students over and over again. Strapped to a board and with a collar and all...
So it was fun and all, but I dunno if I'll ever actually use anything I learned this weekend...I don't know if I want to be an EMT or Paramedic...Right now, I just want to be nothing more than myself...
