1 Aki landed on the ground, hard, right outside the doors to the building. "Ouch..." He said quietly to no one. The travel had not been a pleasant one, and he was not ready for the sudden drop. "This place must be protected against the war,” he said, again, not to anyone, because there was no one around. He sighed deeply and got to his feet. He winced as his hand bruised against the back of his leg. He looked at his hand to see it was coated in blood. "Oh, great!" He said through the pain. He shook his head and limped to the door and opened it. "Hello?!" He cried loudly. “Is there anyone there? I need help..." He limped forward a bit and stop, he didn't want to wander around dripping blood. A girl came running "Are you ok?! What happened?!" She said stopping in front of him. He smiled weakly at the girl. She was rather pretty. "Um, I seemed to have gashed my leg. Would you be so kind as to help me to the medical facilities?" He didn't know if he was speaking correctly. He spoke in an older tongue so he wasn't always sure if he got through to many people. “Yeah, I'll help you. Here take my hand," she said, holding out her hand. "Thank you very much," he said, wincing as he stood up strait and grabbed the hand she held out for him. As he took her hand she put it around her shoulder to help him walk. She began to walk slowly. "By the way, my name's Rin." He smiled at her. "Mine's Akihiro, but please call me," he winced, "sorry, call me Aki." He was glad someone was here to help him. And he was luckier still that this girl found him. She was pretty, nice, and seemed to be well natured. "Nice to meet you Aki," She said. They had made it to the medical facilities. "Ok, here we are." She opened the door and helped him in. "Once again, thank you." He paused, "your kindness is very becoming." He gave her a heartwarming smile. Then, slowly, he limped over to the sinks. He blushed deep scarlet. "Um, I'm sorry, but I'm going to need to take my pants off," he blushed even deeper, "so, would it be too much trouble to ask you to turn around?" He gave her an embarrassed smile. "Ah, no problem!" Rin turned around. "Ah, thank you." he almost whispered. He slid out of his pants, trying to be careful. "Ow!" he winced as the last bit of pants brushed the cut. Now standing there, almost entirely naked, he grabbed some paper towel, wet it, and gingerly dabbed the wound. Nothing too serious, but the antiseptic still stung. He finished by wrapping the bandages around his upper leg, over the wound. He then put his pants back on, his face still scarlet with embarrassment. "Alright, I'm done, thank you again." he said with a nervous chuckle. "You're welcome Aki." Rin said smiling as she turned around with a hint of pink still on her face. "Are you better now? Or at least better than before?" He laughed. "At least I'm not going to die." He had picked up on her species. Was it Dark Angel? He didn't know, but right now he didn't care. She was a good person and that’s all that matters. He stood up and re-inspected the wound. It would heal now. "Oh, and, heh, once again, thank you." He gave her a smile and limped forward a bit so he was only a few feet away from her. "You're welcome, Aki." She laughed quietly as she talked. They were both laughing nervously. "Um..." he looked at the floor. "Would you like to come eat lunch with me?" He looked back up at her eyes and smiled his charming smile. "We could, at the least, find the cafeteria together?" "Okay, sure," she said, smiling. "That'd be fine." She began to walk towards the cafeteria.
