I know i havn't written in a while. i think it's not because i havnt been inspired or no wierd ideas have popped into my head (that would be a travesty) but i guess it's because by the time i got home to write what i had been thinking of, it didn't seem as important to type. which kinda cusks, because when i had been thinking of whatever it was that i had been thinking of, it was pretty interesting.
yet, alas, i have nothing further to write on that subject. i guess it has aso been the fact that i've been really stressed lately and so whenever i had some extra time i didn't want to spend it contemplating the cosmos but rather frying my brains on cable TV (and reading the occasional book, of course)
ok, next paragraph is my rambling review of Betrayed, so if you are in the midst of reading it, or Marked, stop reading. just a warning.
i suppose i could writea review of the lates book i've read. it was Betrayed. (a vampire book, again, of course) it was the secodn book in the series (first one was Marked) this one seemed, whats the word? oh, right. slutier, than the first one. and i definatly didn't liek the heroine as much due to her guy troubles (let's just say, i really wanted a certain person to die when he was captured) and the overall climax wasn't as suspensful as it should have been and it came across as a very sophmoric climax to the point that the authors were trying to make it lighthearted when it really should not have been. In spite of this, i did cry in this novel (severely, i mean, really cried. really, for a whole two chapters) and i knew it was coming, but that didn't prepare me or anything, it just made it worse because it's like your on the sidelines , knowing what's going to happen and you know there's nothing you can do about it while the players just go about their game, not knowing what's coming. so yes, as rambled as that seemed, i cried. i liked the ending though...for the most part. it seemed a little "la tree la" to me with the guy issues (to a certain extent) and i REALLY didn't like what one guy did after a certian incident with the thing and the chair and the sadness and the thing. mrgreen but the very ending was kick a** because it made way for a very intrguing third novel (Chosen) which i am looking forward to reading.
ok, done with the rambling, i think i just felt like typing.
