A peek inside the mind of the bubbly and the insane...
You will never believe...
What happened before the Choir Christmas Concert...

First of all, let me explain why I didn't post this sooner (The Christmas Concert was exactly one week ago.) I've been pretty busy working on my blasted Science Project and getting ready for the big UIL Poetry and Debate competitions (even though they're not till MARCH...) So I was lucky enough to get a little taste of freedom today...

Okay. I was in the bathroom getting ready for the concert when I heard my mom by the front door. She was talking to someone on her cell phone when I suddenly heard her yell. I thought it was no big deal... Like she probably dropped her phone or something. Then, I heard her yell several other times... Now I knew that something was definitely wrong. My dad dashed out the door. I followed suit...

And there was the pathetic sight of both my parents...
Running down the street.
Chasing after....

THE CAR.

Yep. Mother forgot to put on the handbreak (Our car is a stick.) And since the roads were rather slippery since the freakin' temperature has been going down....

Car - Handbreak + Slippery Road = The Unthinkable

It was practically a miracle that my dad was still able to catch it... In the middle of the road! Cars were approaching, but the drivers saw my mom giving them signs to stop. Good thing they were driving at a slow pace.

I was just standing there watching the scene unfold. It was unbelievable. I wish I had my video camera... This was a total AFV moment...

But seriously, this was SO a God thing... How the entire scenario came about.
*There were no kids playing on the streets.
*There were no cars around.
*There was no traffic.
*The upcoming cars were running at a slow pace.
*My parents were alright.
*Nobody was hurt.
*There was not a SINGLE scratch on the car.

If the unthinkable happened, I don't know what could have happened to us... This is definitely on the top of my long list of proof that God hasn't abandoned my family and me.

On a lighter note, the concert went really well. Hardly anyone sang a wrong note and we sang a lot of fun songs. Everyone liked it. My family absolutely loved it. I had fun. Yeah. Life is good.

XOXO,
Her Royal Highness,
Princess PaJiE (",//< wink ->
