Everything hurts, I can't spend any more time in the car.
We arrived at my aunt's house on Friday after driving through an awful mess all the way from Chicago to the Michigan/Indiana border. My sister and I had to share our five-year-old cousin's bedroom and bunk bed. I got stuck with the top bunk (which is rather unpleasant when it's not designed to hold anyone over 90 lbs and/or 4'8'') and was most displeased. Over the next few days, we ate nothing but junk and spent a lot of time staring at the ceiling. I was also forced to sit throught two hours of Tom Cruise when we went to see War of the Worlds. It wasn't terrible, but I would have preferred to stay home and remain in my comatose state. However, we did get some shopping done and I bought stuff for a change. Yay.
Things only really got bad today, though. We had planned to leave at 9:00am (eastern) but both my sister and I felt really shitty. We were woozy and feverish for no apparent reason. She didn't even get up, and when I did, I nearly passed out (I got to a couch in time, but sat on my little brother. Ha.) After that, my parents agreed that they didn't want to take the risk of either of us vomiting all over the car, so we postponed the drive home until 3:00pm. Both of us went back to sleep. I finally got up and had a piece of toast at 1:00pm, but my sister couldn't even get up until right before we left. She didn't eat anything for another six hours, poor thing. The good news was that by leaving so late, we got through Chicago in record time, although that was still about eight hours total xp .
Now, I must leave you and memorize 50 of ye damn vocab words for ye bloody ACT/SAT prep course...atrophy, colloquial, diatribe...
