For the past few nights I slept with tears,
See only the face of the one that I love,
I stand there battling my most secret of fears,
I want to shout that I care for him with all of my heart,
But I can not.
I scream the most desperate cry that a woman can,
No words come from my mouth,
I have no voice to this man,
I can not tell him the admeration that I have for him,
No words.
Searching my heart for the words I want to say,
Tears begin to fall,
Streams of tears fall like rain on a mid summer's day,
I feel them on my cheek and on lips,
I wish to tell you.
But I can not,
These tears are tears that I shed for only you.
