What right does one have to judge?
We look to the outside of a person and determine who they are,
but only they know their true selves.
What right does one have to teach?
They say they know all and give advice,
but their advice only helps themselves.
What right does one have to love?
All love is is a word that brings pain,
those that do find love never fully appreciate what they have.
What right does one have to live?
We expect too much and receive so little,
What we do have is never enough.
What right does one have to cry?
We see their tears and do nothing,
When they reach their breaking point its too late.
What right does one have to be alone?
They cry out for help but are ignored,
They feel they are unloved and are nothing more than dirt.
What right do you have to judge me?
I'm cold and distant but that doesn't mean I'm not human,
I feel pain just as you can feel it.
Don't assert yourself to an authority higher than me
because one day you'll feel my pain,
and when that happens I'll come to your call.
Treat those who are different than you as equals
because they just might be the one's judging you....
