The glass cracked as the sirens screamed their warning. No one was supposed to be outside; but when did she ever listen to orders??? The heavy rain and lightening couldn't have had better timing. Retreating to the far end of the house she spun on her heals and glared determinately at the glass. With a clever smirk she charged, head down towards the glass. They can't keep her here. They never could. She was only caught because she actually thought she could trust somebody. . .I should have guessed. No one is trust worthy anymore. With a loud crash the window broke and she tumbled head first out the window. Uncovering her eyes she squinted against the wind as the concrete below rushed at her, grasping the ends of her cape she flung it up into the air and was jerked to a slow as she hang glided into the fray that was once her beautiful hometown. She had barely stepped foot on the ground when she was jerked violently backwards; the Wylites were going to be harder to fight than she thought. Closing her eyes she focused on the pull of her bloodline as it pulsed to life; when she opened her eyes they were scarlet red. Her lips pulled back into a tight smile as her powers reached their full potential. With a grunt she leaped into the air and landed square on the head of the nearest Wylite, reaching into her cloak she withdrew a long sword. Its steel blade pulsed blue light as it hummed its need for blood.
Still working on it. . .more soon
