Me trying to sell stuff is funny. Our store's Horton Hears a Who promotion was pretty pointless, actually, although I think we sold a lot of Dr. Seuss books and gave away some movie tickets. No one really had time to stop and let their kids be read to for the duration of a short children's book. Too in a hurry to get their groceries.

Also, I finished The White Darkness, which was pretty good, all told. Imaginary people in your head for the win!!! As usual, I wanted to know more about everything at the end than I was told. I'd like to read more about Titus Oates and Scott's expedition now. Maybe when I'm done with all my other reading...
