It's some collection agency called DCS financial group. and they somehow bought up my federal student loans from the government and are attemtping to collect on them. I defaulted on them actually a LONG time ago because back when i was in college, I went to a private college. And, every semester, if you ahve a hold on your account, you have to go meet with this sister lady [cuz it's a catholic owned institution.. and most of the admin are catholic nuns there. >.< nothing against catholics or anything, I SWEAR! but, the ones there are NOT nice~~~ ] who we had to see to get them taken off. and, the last semester I was there.. 2 things happen.
1. by end of semester i still had a 2k balance on my account... and i didn't have a way to pay it off.. and she told me at beginning of semester that if I had one she'd go and pull me out of my classes the next semester. Well, having one still, I decided not to enlist for classes right away becuase I didn't want to be embarrassed like that.
2. they put in internet in the student comp room upstairs. >.< That was the beginning of the end for me. Every day i was in tehre for hours and hours. At first, it'd just be 2 hours.. and i'd put off a class by five minutes. Then, my algebra teacher said i was doing really well, so I didn't have to go to all his classes as long as i was passing mytests... but, I discovered chat rooms.. and kept blowing off tests and classes and not just math either. I almost was about to fail them, but i withdrew before the time period hit for the semester. but i still had that hold i was talking about.... I didn't really know what to do then because I am no good when it comes to financial stuff like that. Half of the technical reading makes me feel like I'm going to have a seizure. sweatdrop
I really would like to go back to school for a few things if I were able to.
1. I miss my pottery classes. I loved ceramics! Man.. I really wish I hadn't given away some of my really good pots as presents. Back then, I didn't have a lot fo cash [like i do now? lol.. ] so i gave my pots out as gifts.. Now I wish I had kept some. neutral I would love to have stuff to take pics of with our digi cam and post in here for you guys to see. Especially my butterfly pot that my professor put in the student art show. He even invited other art professors to come see it before the show. That's never happened to me ever in anything before. and i gave it to this girl who was at the time my best friend. and her husband was jealous of our friendship and broke it! evil crying geez...
2. I would like to go for a year or two of classes and be a certified massuese. I have a natural talent for massaging. This is why foxpro loves me so much in real life. He is always sure to take advantage of my talents in massaging... xd yeah. but, If i was certified and learned some of their little... methods to add skill to my talent, I could make some serious cash on teh side. or.. I hear certified massuess get hired as asst's at chiropractors offices! wootness for the more money right?
3. I would like to take more creative writing classes. I think as a writer I still have a lot fo things to learn, and I really want to learn them. Since having naaman, I've become a lot more better with having some stick-to-it'iveness as my mom says. In times past, I never did my homework.. except for the creative writing poetry class I took. then, that was all i worked on. xp that's my OCD tendencies for ya.
oh, but the good news in this is that I applied at the bank my sister works for. [not sure if i said this already cuz i get forgetful] They called me this past week for a phone interview. whee I am really praying they'll call me back and set up an orientation, etc. It'd only be part time. I'd still have to do a few days at TRU... but, my schedule would get so much more consistent which will be nice when the school year starts up again. Also, I'd start @ $2 more an hour than i get right now. All things considered, it would be a win/win situation for me.
oh, and, just in case anyone is interested in reading some stuff I wrote for a game i played a while back: dransik fanfics...
um, only the stuff from 7/21/2004 and before are really what to read becuase the three things up top were in relation to another server and were a different series.
I'll have to post a list of which ones to read in which order. generally, most of the older ones are at the bottom of that forum, except for enters the orc. someone posted comments in it after the fact and set it out of index order. stressed domokun don't ya jsut hate that? msn lets you move forums up and down and hide them. they should let the owner of a forum move the posts around in a certain order too. 3nodding
