for those of you who were worrying . . . Kitty has emerged! She wandered over while we were trying to make the Wii work with the tivo, cable and DVD player. We immediately stopped messing with electronics and lavished affection and attention on her for a good 45 minutes. now she's hanging out under the sofa, and occasionally bats around a bell in a ball that we got her. All is well in the world!
