I thought about a lot of things today. But only one question comes to mind right now. Have I changed?

Song of the Day...Different, by Acceptance

"I wanted to see something that's different, something you said would change in me
Wanted to be, anything different, everything you would change in me"
~Different, by Acceptance~

Status: not too bad

Do people's opinions bother me? I wonder if I'm the type of person who wants to please everyone around me. If that's the case, then my priorities are very interesting.

A little off topic. That sounds like something I might say in Whitestream's journal. But it's quite relative to today, of course. In the morning, I got to school at the usual time, right when the doors in the cafeteria opened. Just the way I like it. ^^ I zipped through the usual routine and did my English homework. I enjoyed some ordinary morning conversations with Amy, Judy, Christie, and Krilly.

And all too quickly, second period came along. I find Ms. Kress's class to always be very entertaining. I think Janet was right. A class is more fun when you have more friends there. Come to think of it, when I first came to this class, I didn't have too many friends that I really talk to. And the people I did know were the other kind of friends. You know the ones you say "hi" to in the halls, but never really get to know for real? But now, I've really come to like the people around me.

I suppose I'm straying a bit from the oh so interesting topic of what exactly I did in Writing Seminar class today. It was an oridnary lesson really. At first, we had some free time to talk with each other and fool around because Ms. Kress was handing back graded work and showing people their grades. Which reminds me, I have to get my grade sheet signed! She uses the same grading style as Ms. McGuigan. Ah, the wonderful bond between best friends. ^^ I read some more of Annie's comics, and talked to Priya and Simon about random things. Afterwards, we had a lesson on personification, which was okay.

Moving on.

Math was boring, as usual. And I hardly paid attention, I admit. Mr. Eng did review, as always before a test. As it would seem, I have a Latin test and a Math test tomorrow. It was very nice of Daniel to make the class study sheets for the proofs and postulates.

Lunch was next. And I had to complete my Latin homework, which I had saved for school. Bushra luckily gave me her study sheet to work with. =) And strangely we got into some strange conversation about my sweater (the black one from when i went shopping with Amma on Rasheeda's b-day) and my shirt (bought with the sweater). Priya said that a brown shirt and black sweater didn't match, which everyone else said that it did, and that my shirt had a design on it in many colors so it didn't matter. How superficial the world is. *sigh* And frankly, I seem to be a part of it.

After I finished my homework, me and Lindah (who was wearing the cutest little bear shirt ^^) went to the ghetto truck. When we returned to the library, a funny thing happened. Priya was talking to us about a time when her 13 year old cousin ate her homework, and about how he called her a f***ing b*****b, which made no sense, and them these seniors sitting adjacent to us were laughing and eavesdropping lol. And then, they talked about us while we were right there, and threw an airplane over our head over and over again. And the hilarious thing about that was that Michelle could throw it better than any of them. xD And there was this weird Asian senior dude who was sizing Priya's head, and he was like, "How tall is your head?" It was so hilarious, really! Me and Bushra couldn't stop laughing about it in Latin.

Which was my next class of course. Latin was pretty fun as well. We got into little groups (me, Christine, and Lee) and worked on our study sheets. Which was pretty fun. Or perhaps I should say, I enjoy annoying Christine. ^^ Lolz.

Biology was fun as well. We had to do last week's lab today, since today is our double. It was actually quite easy, though it always takes me a while to get the point. We just had to put a solvent in a test tube and watch it change the color of a paper that had a line of grinded leaf at the bottom of it. What was so hilarious about this was that when you put the paper solvent on paper, it completely disappears. The paper won't be wet or wrinkly or anything! Me and Esther were AMAZED lol. And Judy was like, "You guys have the attention span of a squirrel." Lolz.

Global was interesting. It actually brings me back to a little incident at lunch. See, Priya tried to trick me into doing her English homework lol. And I actually fell for it. She said that she would let me copy her global homework, which I believed to be due Wednesday, and the handouts that were due yesterday (she said McManamon was taking then late since most ppl hadn't dome them). All I had to do was her English homework. But then she couldn't find her English homework, so she just told me the truth (or so she thought) that McManamon doesn't take late homeworks so she lied about the handouts, and that HW #58 was due Wednesday. Lolz. I am so gullable.

And then as it turned out, in Global, there WAS homework. Which Judy told me about right before Global in front of the class (since we usually get there early after lab). And on top of that, there was a HW QUIZ too. Luckily, I reviewed Salma's homework right before the quiz, so I probably didn't absolutely FAIL the quiz. I hope. And lucky me, it would seem! Because he didn't even collect it today, so I have an extra day to do the homework! ^^ We did this interesting thing in Global today where we had partner conversations between two African men about their villages. It was pretty fun. Acting, or rather, playing out voices, is actually harder than it looks. We learned some more about Africa, which was rather interesting.

Lastly, there was English. And how simple it is to go through this one. Worksheet. Oh great! Emran's home! T___T

I skipped my club. So here I am! ><
